Attorney General Eric Holder to Create ‘Homegrown’ Terrorism Task Force

Attorney General Eric Holder unveiled his plan to create a new Justice Department task force this week that will focus on the threat of “homegrown” terrorism.

In a video posted to the department’s website Monday, which was later removed, Holder argued that the focus on terrorism should “return” to the U.S. as opposed to remaining overseas.

“We face an escalating danger from self-radicalized individuals within our own borders,” Holder said. “As the nature of the threat we face evolves to include the possibility of individual radicalization via the Internet, it is critical that we return our focus to potential extremists here at home.”

The “Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee,” an admittedly revamped version of Janet Reno’s post Oklahoma City bombing task force, will include U.S. Attorneys as well as members from the FBI and Justice Department’s National Security Division.

  1. Every dog has his day. The problem is logistics. Most people do not involve themselves in politics or free speech or anything else except trying to make a living, raise their families, with a dream of having a nice home in a nice neighborhood, 3-4 bedroom house, a 2 car garage, 2 bathrooms and a brick exterior. And enough wages to pay for everything.
They do not concern themselves with D.C. They do not concern themselves with a security act that is clearly unconstitutional. Or the 300 plus congress people that betrayed their trust by voting for it. If they keep their heads down, do not concern themselves with all of it, they may or may not be noticed by anyone. “The meek shall inherit the Earth.” And the average person out there certainly qualifies.
They do not concern themselves with midnight raids by SWAT TEAMS or people quietly disappearing. Or the lack of Due Process under the new rules. That is history. It is a done deal.
Only the same people in D.C. making these rules are also selling everyone down the river, exporting their jobs to China and India, collecting some really good benefits and salaries while the rest of the people are slowly absorbed in a system nightmare of welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, and of course raises in taxes to pay for everything. So things quietly go to Hell while Mr. Complacent and Mrs. Complacent go about their everyday lives until it suddenly ends as they are next. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for you. (Mr. Hemingway was probably right.)
The next people to wake up are likely to be the very last people to get upset. That being the very people that sold us down the river in the U.S. Congress . . . Once again we have that circus we call the Electorial process and changes in the map of government power. By all means, the next government of congress is likely to be Republican again.
So all the charges, all the government agencies, and all the King’s men, are likely to have trouble putting the President back together again. So along comes a lawyer, an Attorney General, that wants to set everyone up as a potential terrorist in the country? Does that include your local representative in Congress? It is a legitimate question. Because in January of next year, a Republican-based Congress may bring impeachment proceedings for all that has gone on in the last two to six years. The very Attorney General we speak of is one such target of this group.
Even the judicial branch is asking some very pointed questions right now.
Every dog has his day. But after that day is over, what happens next?

  2. Does that mean that Eric intends to arrest all the undercover agents from the FBI first?
How does one tell the difference between an FBI double agent and a real terrorist?
What a tangled web we who deceive, must weave to avoid trouble with other agencies of government.
Who is financing all of this and who authorized the government to spend money on this project?
