Hide Yourself

(By Chelle Wagner) I have heard the phrase “hide yourself” in my spirit for several days now. When I began to study it out it led me to:

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. KJV

When I study the word of Elohim I want to zero in and ensure that I correctly understand what YAHUAH has to say to me, that process always involves context, context, context. As I began to search for context, I went back to look at Isaiah chapters 24-27 and low and behold here is another section of scripture that deals with the Greater Exodus. I am so excited to share a revelation that is new to me on an Ancient TRUTH, that deals with the day we are currently living in. It also dealt with Ancient Babylon and the ruling city of the day Nineveh. This is a great example of the timeline of YAHUAH resembling a DNA helix for there is nothing new under the sun and to understand what will be refer back to what has been.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.

Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am EL, and there is none else; I am ELOHIYM, and there is none like me,

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Eth Cepher 3rd edition

The King James Version entitles this chapter of scripture “Judgment on the Whole Earth”. Chapters 24-26 are a continuous theme dealing with worldwide judgement followed by the redemption of the people of Yah and the Greater Exodus.

From this point on I am using the NLT version (unless otherwise notated) of the bible due to its simplicity of the English language and relevance to our time of communication. I encourage you to read the chapters in their entirety to see what the Spirit of Yah may impart to you.

Isaiah 24:1-4 Look! The LORD is about to destroy the earth and make it a vast wasteland. He devastates the surface of the earth and scatters the people. Priests and laypeople, servants and masters, maids and mistresses, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, bankers and debtors—none will be spared. The earth will be completely emptied and looted. The LORD has spoken! The earth mourns and dries up, and the land wastes away and withers. Even the greatest people on earth waste away.

There are a whole lot of leaders in power on the earth that are gleefully attempting to implement a plan that makes them gods. Michael Snyder and others are providing us with great insight into this on a daily basis Psalms 2 tells us our Elohim is laughing at their attempt to shrug off His restraints.

Psalms 2:1-4 Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.

Isaiah 24:5-13 The earth suffers for the sins of its people, for they have twisted God’s instructions, violated his laws, and broken his everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse consumes the earth. Its people must pay the price for their sin. They are destroyed by fire, and only a few are left alive.

The grapevines waste away, and there is no new wine. All the merrymakers sigh and mourn. The cheerful sound of tambourines is stilled; the happy cries of celebration are heard no more. The melodious chords of the harp are silent. Gone are the joys of wine and song; alcoholic drink turns bitter in the mouth. The city writhes in chaos; every home is locked to keep out intruders. Mobs gather in the streets, crying out for wine. Joy has turned to gloom. Gladness has been banished from the land.

The city is left in ruins, its gates battered down. Throughout the earth the story is the same—only a remnant is left, like the stray olives left on the tree or the few grapes left on the vine after harvest.

This passage of scripture is truly the stuff of nightmares. It tells us how a land as beautiful as America from sea to shining sea, as well as the other nations, becomes desolate as a chastisement for her sin of living a life that no longer had a place for the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE. A people that decided to through off the restraints of the instructions we were given in His Holy Scriptures. Within a very short period of time “suddenly” in America as the famine empties the land of food where it can no longer be found in the food banks and grocery stores, when the liquor, beer and wine run out, when the bars close for good, when people cannot feed their families, ever city will erupt in chaos. The first thing on most peoples minds is going to be security as gangs of violent intruders will stop at nothing to get their fix whatever that is for each one enslaved to the sin of pleasures this world had offered.

Isaiah 24:14-16 But all who are left shout and sing for joy. Those in the west praise the LORD’s majesty. In eastern lands, give glory to the LORD. In the lands beyond the sea, praise the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

We hear songs of praise from the ends of the earth, songs that give glory to the Righteous One! But my heart is heavy with grief. Weep for me, for I wither away. Deceit still prevails, and treachery is everywhere.

In the midst of this horror show Elohim gives directions to His people that live through this…give praise, sing unto HIM, give glory and honor to the name of YAHUAH. Yet the prophet sees it is not over we must still live through the destruction of the wicked and it rains on the just and the unjust causing much pain to our souls.

Isaiah 24:17-20 Terror and traps and snares will be your lot, you people of the earth. Those who flee in terror will fall into a trap, and those who escape the trap will be caught in a snare. Destruction falls like rain from the heavens; the foundations of the earth shake. The earth has broken up. It has utterly collapsed; it is violently shaken. The earth staggers like a drunk. It trembles like a tent in a storm. It falls and will not rise again, for the guilt of its rebellion is very heavy.

Just as YAHUAH promised He has poured out His spirit on all flesh in this day giving the young, the old, the male, the female dreams, visions, words of knowledge about tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanos etc. He speaks to those with an ear to hear His voice. We are living witnesses as the CREATOR of the ring of fire sets it ablaze throughout the earth. WHY? For the guilt of our rebellion.

Isaiah 24:21-23 In that day the LORD will punish the gods in the heavens and the proud rulers of the nations on earth. They will be rounded up and put in prison. They will be shut up in prison and will finally be punished. Then the glory of the moon will wane, and the brightness of the sun will fade, for the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will rule on Mount Zion. He will rule in great glory in Jerusalem, in the sight of all the leaders of his people.

As I witness televised broadcasts of our leaders dole out draconian measures on the people they govern with glee and smugness it is comforting to remember nothing escapes the attention of YAHUAH T’ZVAOT. The Lord of the Armies of Heaven will dole out His justice IN THAT DAY.

Isaiah 25:1a O LORD, I will honor and praise your name for you are my God…

I have really been convicted in the last several years of the importance of His Name. It isn’t lord which is a title, it isn’t god which can apply to a multitude of false entities of the users choosing. When I hear a general reference to god, in polite society I really have no way of knowing who that person is actually referring to because it is a widely bandied about term for whatever brand of spirituality makes the speaker comfortable. His name is not Hashem which in Hebrew means “the name”. It is a rule of the religious leaders of Judiaism that the actual name of YAHUAH is not to be spoken, but I can’t find that rule in scripture. I actually find the opposite directive.

Psalm 22:21-22 Save me from the lion’s mouth: for you have heard me from the horns of the unicorns. I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the assembly will I praise you. Eth Cepher 3rd edition

In this example not only are we told to speak and declare His Name YAHUAH but we will experience persecution from those of the tribe of Judah (the lion’s mouth). HE hears us from the horns of the unicorns is a reference to Ephraim. This is a great example of what an important issue speaking the name is concerning the two houses, two sticks, two fish becoming one again.

Psalm 9:9-10 YAHUAH also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, YAHUAH, have not forsaken them that seek you. Eth Cepher 3rd edition

There is a boldness of faith built during the intimacy of speaking the name of our great love. That level of intimacy is what sustains the soul and spirit during times of great oppression and suffering.

Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of YAHUAH ELOHAYNU. Eth Cepher 3rd edition

Isaiah 251b-5 You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. You turn mighty cities into heaps of ruins. Cities with strong walls are turned to rubble. Beautiful palaces in distant lands disappear and will never be rebuilt. Therefore, strong nations will declare your glory; ruthless nations will fear you. But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O LORD, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. For the oppressive acts of ruthless people are like a storm beating against a wall, or like the relentless heat of the desert. But you silence the roar of foreign nations. As the shade of a cloud cools relentless heat, so the boastful songs of ruthless people are stilled.

When I see this declaration from the prophet I am so humbled. The wonderful things he is praising YAHUAH for is the destruction of the cities due to the administration of HIS PERFECT JUSTICE. When I ponder the sins of myself, my family, my neighborhood, my town, my county, my state, my country, the nations I know He must bring His judgement because He is just. That doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be devastating to my soul. Many innocents will die, many tragically. I was at a women’s conference in the 1990s and Cindy Jacobs was speaking on true worship. I was a worship leader of a very small church so she had my complete attention. She told a story about Christians in WWII Poland hiding Jews on their farm. The mother and father in the story had gone to get provisions and left the hidden Jews and their daughter on the property. When they returned the Nazis had come and murdered everyone including their daughter. Cindy said the mother fell to her knees and cried out God thank you for allowing me to be the mother of a martyr. She then said “that is true worship”. As a mother that story still shakes me to my core. It is vital that we take courage and consider that very difficult circumstances may befall us and build some emotional strength with the help of the Holy Spirit. This time of turmoil is what it is going to take for “ruthless nations to fear HIM”.

Isaiah 25:6-9 In Jerusalem, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will spread a wonderful feast for all the people of the world. It will be a delicious banquet with clear, well-aged wine and choice meat. There he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth. He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign LORD will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The LORD has spoken! In that day the people will proclaim, “This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the LORD, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!”

What a promise for the future. So many peoples and nations have been terrorized by the might and bullying of the USA and other strong nations of the earth. Imagine for a moment the relief of the people who have lived in the midst of such tyranny and terror.

Isa 25:10-12 For the LORD’s hand of blessing will rest on Jerusalem. But Moab will be crushed. It will be like straw trampled down and left to rot.

God will push down Moab’s people as a swimmer pushes down water with his hands. He will end their pride and all their evil works. The high walls of Moab will be demolished. They will be brought down to the ground, down into the dust.

Moab is the incestuous son of Lot by his oldest daughter conceived right after the angels helped them escape Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:37). Perhaps Lot’s daughters thought they were all that was left in the world and would need to repopulate it. From this child come the Moabite nation. Their king Balak (Numbers 22) hired the false prophet Balaam to curse the children of Israel. They are ancient enemies of the people of YAHUAH. Ruth the grandmother of King David was a Moabite. I love that because it shows that the heart of YAHUAH has always welcomed a humble and contrite heart into His kingdom. It has never been about man’s bloodline but always about the blood of His precious Son Yahusha.

Isaiah 26:1-2 In that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song: Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation. Open the gates to all who are righteous; allow the faithful to enter.

In a previous blog post I asked the question what in the world is it going to take to get the tribe of Judah residing in the land of Israel to roll out the welcome mat to their brother Ephraim. I believe these chapters explain the answer to that question. It will take worldwide calamity, and a faith in the ELOHIM Abraham Isaac and Jacob that is utterly unshakable.

Isaiah 26:3-8 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock. He humbles the proud and brings down the arrogant city. He brings it down to the dust. The poor and oppressed trample it underfoot, and the needy walk all over it. But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them. LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.

I love a good exercise routine to keep my body moving. I know that if I am confronted by a situation that requires me to be in good physical shape that I am only going to be able to perform at the level that I trained at. It is the same spiritually. Personally, I am trying to get as much bible reading and prayer time as I can because time is so short, and I may not have access to a bible in the future. What I am doing now is training. I am meditating on the wonders of who YAHUAH is. I am talking to Him about how wonderful He is. I am asking for wisdom, revelation, compassion, understanding, might, and to be baptized in the HOLY FIRE OF YAHUAH.

Isaiah 26:9-11 In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. Your kindness to the wicked does not make them do good. Although others do right, the wicked keep doing wrong and take no notice of the LORD’s majesty. O LORD, they pay no attention to your upraised fist. Show them your eagerness to defend your people. Then they will be ashamed. Let your fire consume your enemies.

One of the most amazing things to me during this pandemic, economic collapse, food shortages leading to a famine, civil uprising, the beating of the war drums, volcano’s, earthquakes, floods, droughts, forced vaccinations, bills being passed to rip people from their homes and children from their parents is that the fact that this is the judgement of a HOLY ELOHIM is not really even being considered as a real possibility. Most of society seems to think things are going back to normal or a “new normal”. Literally it is as if they are paying no attention to YAH’S upraised fist.

Isaiah 26:12-14 LORD, you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you. O LORD our God, others have ruled us, but you alone are the one we worship. Those we served before are dead and gone. Their departed spirits will never return! You attacked them and destroyed them, and they are long forgotten.

When this is done and over the whole house of Israel all 12 tribes will be a humble people who have willingly let go of their idols. YAHUAH is bringing down the idols that His people embraced just like He did in the judgements of the First Exodus of His people out of Egypt through the ten plagues.

Isaiah 26:15 O LORD, you have made our nation great; yes, you have made us great. You have extended our borders, and we give you the glory!

We have so much to look forward to in the New City of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 26:16-19 LORD, in distress we searched for you. We prayed beneath the burden of your discipline. Just as a pregnant woman writhes and cries out in pain as she gives birth, so were we in your presence, LORD. We, too, writhe in agony, but nothing comes of our suffering. We have not given salvation to the earth, nor brought life into the world. But those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead!

We as His body of believers pray, we are chastened, pruned and purged by Him because He is Holy, and He desires to have us with Him but He will not abide sin. Sometimes we feel so ineffective in such a sinful world. We don’t have the ability to give or grant salvation, only Yahusha gives salvation. He is the hope of our resurrection. He is the only one who overcame death, hell and the grave for our benefit. He is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD.

Isa 26:20-21 Go home, my people, and lock your doors! Hide yourselves for a little while until the LORD’s anger has passed. Look! The LORD is coming from heaven to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will no longer hide those who have been killed. They will be brought out for all to see.

This verse is what I heard whispered in my spirit. I hear do not get caught up in the politics of the day and think for a moment it is Me. Do not try to pray the judgement away. Use your time wisely and draw near to me. Seek to hear my voice, do not allow the cares of this world to choke my word out of your life. The moments you choose right now to spend with Me are the greatest investment strategy you could possibly make for your future, and the future of your loved ones.

In Hebrew the word for hide is spelled with a chet, beit, hey. It is a three-letter root word and a deeper meaning according the Etymological Dictionary of Biblical Hebrew is: to restrain your will. Passions are about to become mightily inflamed in this world, civil unrest and mobs in the street are a given. Now is a good time to become theocentric, which is to have God and His government as your chief concern.

Isaiah 27:1 In that day the LORD will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

As soon as I heard the words Draconian Measures being said by the mainstream media of the United States describing the treatment of the Chinese government of their own citizens, the Holy Spirit began to impress me that these words were very important. The constellation Draco is only able to be seen in the Northern Hemisphere it is hidden from most of the world and snakes its tail all through that area of the sky. Draco is a Greek word for Dragon. Leviathan is the dragon in the midst of the sea. In my last blog we examined the scriptures that explained the sea in scripture is a euphemism for the restless masses of humanity.

Rev 12:12-14 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.” When the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. But she was given two wings like those of a great eagle so she could fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness. There she would be cared for and protected from the dragon for a time, times, and half a time.

Yahuah has told us the Sun, Moon and Stars were given to us so that we could understand the times and seasons of earth. I would dare say He is speaking very loudly His message to the USA during this season on the earth.

Isa 27:2-11 “In that day, sing about the fruitful vineyard. I, the LORD, will watch over it, watering it carefully. Day and night I will watch so no one can harm it. My anger will be gone. If I find briers and thorns growing, I will attack them; I will burn them up— unless they turn to me for help. Let them make peace with me; yes, let them make peace with me.” The time is coming when Jacob’s descendants will take root. Israel will bud and blossom and fill the whole earth with fruit! Has the LORD struck Israel as he struck her enemies? Has he punished her as he punished them? No, but he exiled Israel to call her to account. She was exiled from her land as though blown away in a storm from the east. The LORD did this to purge Israel’s wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing. The fortified towns will be silent and empty, the houses abandoned, the streets overgrown with weeds. Calves will graze there, chewing on twigs and branches. The people are like the dead branches of a tree, broken off and used for kindling beneath the cooking pots. Israel is a foolish and stupid nation, for its people have turned away from God. Therefore, the one who made them will show them no pity or mercy.

This sounds like a repeat of the book of Hosea. He is chastening as the good Shepherd refusing to allow us to fall prey to idol worship. And the following verses again give us the promise of being gathered by YAHUAH for the Second Exodus to Jerusalem.

Isa 27:12-13 Yet the time will come when the LORD will gather them together like handpicked grain. One by one he will gather them—from the Euphrates River in the east to the Brook of Egypt in the west. In that day the great trumpet will sound. Many who were dying in exile in Assyria and Egypt will return to Jerusalem to worship the LORD on his holy mountain.

About Chelle WagnerI am part of the remnant of people whose ancestors were part of the 12 Tribes of Israel that were scattered abroad to every nation of the earth because of their rebellion,  idol worship and refusal to worship the King of Kings in the way they were instructed.  My heart beats with the message of the regathering of all 12 tribes to the full parcel of the physical land of Israel that is the inheritance that belongs to all of Yahuah’s children.  My name is Chelle Wagner and I have been writing and speaking about this message which I call “Heart of the Tribe” since 2003 when it was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit of God.  The reason I am so passionate about this message is because it is the plan of Yahuah to give us a hope and a future.  The body of the Messiah has been just like the valley of dry bones since we were scattered into the nations.  The good news is these bones will live!
