In late 2016, a wonderful sister in Christ named Sonja Craighead sent a 17 page letter to my wife and I which detailed visions that the Lord gave to her between November 21, 2016 and December 7, 2016. You can read the entire 17 page letter for yourself right here. Today, I want to highlight two portions of her vision which are being specifically fulfilled right in front of our eyes.
The first portion that I want to discuss has to do with livestock deaths. You can find the following two sentences on page 11 of the Scribd document…
Remember, this was written in late 2016, and this is exactly what we witnessed in the month of March earlier this year. In fact, it is absolutely amazing that she specifically mentioned Nebraska, because that is where the most cattle were killed by the horrific flooding that took place. According to Agriculture Secretary Sunny Purdue, there “may be as many as a million calves lost in Nebraska” due to the catastrophic flooding that has hit the state. This is not a rumor, this is not an exaggeration, and this is not based on any sort of speculation. This number comes to us directly from the top agriculture official in the entire country, and it means that the economic toll from the recent floods is far greater than most of us had anticipated. You can watch Purdue make this quote on Fox Business right here, and it is important to remember that this number is just for one state. It is hard to imagine what the final numbers will look like when the livestock losses for all of the states affected by the flooding are tallied up. This is already the worst agricultural disaster in modern American history, and the National Weather Service is telling us that there will be more catastrophic flooding throughout the middle portion of the nation for the next two months.
So what Sonja Craighead was shown regarding cattle deaths has been precisely fulfilled in the exact area of the country where she was shown that it would happen.
Now let’s look at another portion of her vision from page 10 of the Scribd document that has to do with crop failures…
In her vision, she saw corn crops in the middle portion of the country “being ruined by flooding”, and that is precisely what is happening right now. 2019 is turning out to be a nightmare that never ends for the agriculture industry. Thanks to endless rain and unprecedented flooding, fields all over the middle part of the country are absolutely soaked right now, and this has prevented many farmers from getting their crops in the ground. I knew that this was a problem, but when I heard that only 30 percent of U.S. corn fields had been planted as of Sunday, I had a really hard time believing it. But it turns out that number is 100 percent accurate. And at this point corn farmers are up against a wall because crop insurance final planting dates have either already passed or are coming up very quickly. In addition, for every day after May 15th that corn is not in the ground, farmers lose approximately 2 percent of their yield. Unfortunately, more rain is on the way, and it looks like thousands of corn farmers will not be able to plant corn at all this year. It is no exaggeration to say that what we are facing is a true national catastrophe.
According to the Department of Agriculture, over the past five years an average of 66 percent of all corn fields were already planted by now…
U.S. farmers seeded 30% of the U.S. 2019 corn crop by Sunday, the government said, lagging the five-year average of 66%. The soybean crop was 9% planted, behind the five-year average of 29%.
Soybean farmers have more time to recover, but they are facing a unique problem of their own which we will talk about later in the article.
In my article, I go on to specifically mention the problems that are being caused in the state of Iowa by all the flooding.
So once again, we see Sonja Craighead’s vision being fulfilled in the exact part of the country that she was shown.
And much of the corn that has actually been planted is having a very hard time taking root because of all the mud and water in the middle portion of the nation. Over the past week, more massive storms have hammered the heartland, and it looks like the current flooding will persist for quite some time.
Of course most of what she has been shown has not been fulfilled yet, but considering what has already been fulfilled, perhaps all of us should take a very close look at her letter.
Like so many others, Sonja Craighead has been shown that absolutely horrific judgments will soon hit this nation. Because of our great sin, things are going to happen to the United States that are absolutely unimaginable.
At the end of her letter she encourages everyone to change their ways and get close to God, and that is great advice.
Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and those that do not know God will not have any hope at all as their lives are completely turned upside down by the nightmarish events that are ahead.
