This is a perfect example of why people hate cable companies so much. When journalist Ryan Block attempted to cancel his cable service, he probably never imagined that he would be subjected to a nightmarish interrogation by a customer service agent. conmcast and time warner : I had Time W. very unethical, lousy customer svc. Don’t use these providers, they are incompetant/unethical.
I’ve got a feeling that these employees are also unreasonably pressured by upper-management to keep as many customers, as possible (not justifying the CSA’s behavior).
It is true. My guess is that there is probably an incentive program in place and that customer service rep was just trying to make a little extra money.
But still, this is an incredible piece of audio.
