Unmanned Antares rocket explodes on launch

An unmanned commercial rocket headed for the International Space Station to deliver supplies exploded just after launching Tuesday, filling the sky with a massive fireball. The Antares rocket supplied by contractor Orbital Sciences blew up moments after liftoff at NASA’s space launch facility on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, the space agency said. The explosion destroyed the rocket and spacecraft and immediately raised questions about the future of NASA’s reliance on private commercial ventures to carry vital payloads into space to supply and support the orbiting space station.

Ebola survives on surfaces for up to 50 days

Little-known research published in the Journal of Applied Microbiology back in 2010 is upsetting the official story regarding Ebola, which government officials claim cannot be spread through contaminated surfaces. Scientists from the Biomedical Sciences Department at the Defense Science and Technology Laboratory in the UK found that, contrary to mainstream claims, Ebola can survive for up to 50 days on dried surfaces, specifically on cold glass. In order to better understand how filoviruses are transmitted, the team tested several strains of Ebola, including the ZEBOV (Zaire ebolavirus) species currently believed to be in circulation, to see how they survived under various conditions.

Obama assails Ebola quarantines, saying they are based on fear, not facts

President Obama on Tuesday forcefully rejected the idea of a quarantine for medical workers returning from Ebola-affected countries, arguing that such an approach would undermine the broader effort to eliminate the epidemic . Politicians in the United States, including the president, have come under increasing pressure to curtail the movements of medical personnel returning from Ebola-affected regions after Craig Spencer — a doctor who had been treating Ebola patients in Guinea — was diagnosed with the virus 10 days after he returned home to New York City. While the president did not directly criticize New Jersey Gov.

CDC Expands Ebola Risk Factors For Forcible Quarantine

The Centers for Disease Control has expanded the list of risk factors for Ebola that increase the federal agency’s power to forcibly quarantine individuals suspected of being exposed to the virus. Under the new guidelines, issued on Monday, individuals are subject to “movement restrictions” if they have briefly been in the vicinity of an Ebola victim. Previously the CDC outlined how, “Brief interactions, such as walking by a person or moving through a hospital, do not constitute close contact.

California Forces Churches to Fund Abortions

First, the mayor of Houston flagrantly violated clergy’s First Amendment rights, when she subpoenaed sermons, and she still refuses to rescind her mandate. And now California government officials are forcing churches and other faith-based organizations to fund abortions. What’s next?

Area 51 scientist claims existence of aliens in bizarre deathbed video – and says they’re ‘long-fingered and friendly’

A dying scientist has made a bizarre deathbed video claiming he knows what is really going on at Nevada’s mysterious Area 51 – and says that he reverse-engineered flying saucer technology for defence firm Lockheed Martin. Boyd Bushman made the revelations in a video recorded just before he died this August – along with photographs of aliens he claims were taken on disposable cameras within American military facilities. Bushman was a research scientist at Lockheed Martin, with a number of patents to his name – although details of his biography are disputed.

Over 214,000 Doctors Opt Out of Obamacare Exchanges

Over 214,000 doctors won’t participate in the new plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA,) analysis of a new survey by Medical Group Management Association shows. That number of 214,524, estimated by American Action Forum, is through May 2014, but appears to be growing due to plans that force doctors to take on burdensome costs. It’s also about a quarter of the total number of 893,851 active professional physicians reported by the Kaiser Family Foundation.

La Raza Promotes Washington Post Guide On Where People Can Vote Without An ID

The pro-amnesty Hispanic activist organization the National Council of La Raza helpfully promoted a Washington Post article explaining which states people can vote in without having to use a photo ID. “Voter ID laws are at-issue across the country, with newly Republican-controlled legislatures having passed them in numerous states after the 2010 election,” explained The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake. “Most states still request some form of ID, but don’t require it.

TRENDING: More college students support post-birth abortion

A trend seen by prolife activists that frequently engage college students on campuses nationwide is the growing acceptance of post-birth abortion, or killing the infant after he or she is born, campus prolife outreach leaders tell The College Fix. Anecdotal evidence by leaders of prolife groups such as Created Equal and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust said in interviews that not only do they see more college students willing to say they support post-birth abortion, but some students even suggest children up to 4 or 5-years-old can also be killed, because they are not yet “self aware.” “We encounter people who think it is morally acceptable to kill babies after birth on a regular basis at almost every campus we visit,” said Mark Harrington, director of Created Equal.

Why There Is No Travel Ban-Obama Won’t Let Ebola Get in the Way of His Open Border Agenda

On Thursday, October 23, 2014, a new person with Ebola emerged in the US’s largest city of New York. Self-monitoring his temperature, yet not staying away from other people, Dr. Craig Spencer  was running around New York City the night before spiking a fever, creating fears among millions of residents and causing healthcare officials to trace his possible contacts while at a bowling alley, on a Uber taxi, a subway and a restaurant.

Boosting Your Immune System: What NOT to Eat

Tis the season for the flu shot propaganda machine to rev into high gear, as Big Pharma, the CDC, and the mainstream media urge people to roll up their sleeves and have toxins like mercury and formaldehyde injected into them, all in the name of “staying healthy this winter.” There’s a much easier way to stay healthy that also involves toxins – the ones in our food supply. Only I recommend avoiding them instead of injecting them directly into your body.

IRS seizes hundreds of perfectly legal bank accounts, refuses to give money back

The Internal Revenue Service has been seizing bank accounts belonging to small businesses and individuals who regularly made deposits of less than $10,000, but broke no laws. And the government is refusing to return all the money taken. The practice ‒ called civil asset forfeiture ‒ allows IRS agents to seize property they suspect of being tied to a crime, even if no charges are filed, and their agency is allowed to keep a share of whatever is forfeited, the New York Times reported.
