El Rushbo said 30 years ago that those unattended western-states’ forests are a fire waiting to happen. Until these latest news videos, I was unaware of the forests’ vastness. Why haven’t at least SOME of the forest lands been developed (around these parts it’s called “improving”). Why haven’t the resources there been utilized? I wish the firefighters all the best.
