This isn’t just another war in the Middle East. The conflict that began on October 7th, 2023 has been raging for nearly 3 years now, and it is a battle for all the marbles. As you will see below, Israel’s goal is regime change in Iran. Of course Iran’s goal is to completely wipe Israel from the map. So there is never going to be any sort of a “peace agreement” between Israel and Iran. Both sides are going to continue to fight to achieve their goals until one or the other wins.
And things could be heating up in the region very soon.
The high holiday season is about to arrive in Israel, and Defense Minister Israel Katz is warning that Israel will “respond with great force” if Iran chooses to attack…
Israel is prepared for a possible attack from Iranian forces over the Jewish high holiday season, which begins in mid-September, said Katz.
If Iran attacks, Israel will “respond with great force, independently of anyone else,” Katz said, adding that “our planes are ready to take off.”
“They like to attack on Jewish holidays because, after all, they hate Jews. Look at the many things that have happened in the past. But we are prepared both defensively and offensively, in coordination with the United States in this regard,” Katz said.
Israelis will be observing Rosh Hashanah at the end of next week.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if more fighting between Israel and Iran erupts once the fall festivals begin.
In fact, more fighting between the two could literally erupt at any moment.
Israel’s stance on Iran has never changed.
During a recent interview, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu openly admitted that “all of Israel’s systems are working to overthrow this regime and defeat it”…

Did you catch that?
This is something that is happening right now.
The goal is regime change, and Israeli operatives are working very hard to make that a reality.
Meanwhile, Fox News is reporting that President Trump has “revived speculation over regime change in Iran”…
President Donald Trump revived speculation over regime change in Iran Tuesday night, openly asking when Iranians would “rise up and fight” as his administration intensified military and economic pressure on a government US officials say is increasingly vulnerable.
“I’m not trying to force Iran to the bargaining table,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Tuesday. “I like our position now much better, with almost total control of the Hormuz Strait, and their economy totally collapsing.”
“They are just playing out the inevitable,” Trump added. “When are the Iranian people going to rise up and fight?”
Of course the truth is that hundreds of thousands of Iranians did rise up back in January, and tens of thousands of them were gunned down by their tyrannical government.
The Iranian regime is strong.
They have more than a million men that they could call upon if needed.
The U.S. has been bombing Iran over and over again, and the regime still remains firmly in control.
On Tuesday, the U.S. unveiled a new “tanker for tanker” policy…
The US military struck two Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) tankers on Tuesday in the first direct retaliatory attack on Iranian ships since the beginning of the war, Axios reported on Tuesday, citing US officials.
The move is part of a new “tanker for tanker” policy approved by US President Donald Trump, the report said, and aims to further deter Iranian attacks on ships moving through the Strait of Hormuz.
Prior to the new strategy, the US had only prevented Iranian ships from violating the naval blockade.
So now whenever the Iranians attack a commercial ship in the Strait of Hormuz, we will attack one of their ships.
Of course that won’t deter Iran.
They are just going to keep doing what they feel they need to do.
And so it is inevitable that there will be a lot more fighting.
It appears that the Iranians would like the consequences of the war to reach the U.S. homeland.
We are being told that Iranian hackers have been targeting “telecommunications, energy and other infrastructure” inside the United States during the past few weeks…
Iranian hackers have targeted not only US water systems but also telecommunications, energy and other infrastructure in recent weeks, NBC News reported on Wednesday, citing four people with access to government and industry cyberthreat information.
So far, it does not appear that much damage has been done.
Perhaps they are not very good hackers.
In any event, they are promising that we will soon “witness unexpected and critical events in the energy, water, and telecommunications industries”…
A Telegram channel presenting itself as a voice for Iranian cyber operations also threatened attacks on US infrastructure.
“Soon, the United States will witness unexpected and critical events in the energy, water, and telecommunications industries,” the group, APT IRAN, said on Telegram, according to NBC News.
We shall see.
Personally, I am far more concerned about the potential for a biological attack on U.S. soil.
And of course the crisis in the Middle East will continue to drive up energy prices.
According to NBC News, the average price of a gallon of diesel in the U.S. has reached the highest level since the war with Iran began…

Every day, diesel seems to get even more expensive.
At the rate we are going, it won’t be too long before the average price of a gallon of diesel in the U.S. hits 6 dollars…

That’s because the industrial fuel sits at the epicenter of freight, agriculture, construction, and heavy industry; soaring prices ripple quickly through supply chains, raising transportation and construction costs, reigniting food inflation, weakening consumer sentiment, and intensifying margin pressure on small and medium-sized businesses.
The latest AAA data show that the nationwide average retail price reached $5.69 per gallon.
Meanwhile, the turmoil in global bond markets is intensifying.

The yield on German 10-year bunds, the benchmark for the euro area, was 4 basis points higher at 3.378% on Wednesday — its highest level since 2011. Japan’s 10-year yield stood at 3.016%, after crossing 3% for the first time in three decades on Tuesday.
The 10-year Treasury yield touched its highest level since November 2023 at 4.814%, as British 10-year gilts marked a fresh post-2008 high of 5.25%, before both retreated slightly.
This is just the start.
This crisis is slowly building up to a crescendo, and I am convinced that things will soon get really crazy.
Iran has cards that they have not revealed yet, and so does Israel.
We have never been this close to a nightmare scenario in the Middle East.
There has already been so much death and destruction, but it isn’t even worth comparing to what is eventually coming.
