One Company Wants To Implant Microchips Into The Hands Of “Hundreds Of Thousands” Of Global Workers

It is really happening. At one time, the idea that large numbers of people would willingly allow themselves to have microchips implanted into their hands seemed a bit crazy, but now it has become a reality. Thousands of tech enthusiasts all across Europe have already had microchips implanted, and now a Swedish company is working with very large global employers to implement this on the corporate level. In fact, Biohax recently told one of the biggest newspapers in the UK that they have been talking with a “major financial services firm” that has “hundreds of thousands of employees”

Biohax, a Swedish company that provides human chip implants, told the Telegraph it was in talks with a number of UK legal and financial firms to implant staff with the devices.

One prospective client, which cannot be named, is a major financial services firm with “hundreds of thousands of employees.”

For security-obsessed corporations, this sort of technology can appear to have a lot of upside. If all of your employees are chipped, you will always know where they are, and you will always know who has access to sensitive areas or sensitive information.

According to a top official from Biohax, the procedure to implant a chip takes “about two seconds”, and it is usually implanted in the hand

A syringe is used to place the chip in an area between the thumb and forefinger, according to the report. Osterlund said the procedure is similar to ear piercing and takes “about two seconds.” The microchips operate via “near field communication” technology, similar to what is used by no-contact bank cards.

“In a company with 200,000 employees, you can offer this as an opt-in,” Osterlund told the Telegraph.

Right now, many companies use security badges, and I once worked in a building that required a security badge.

But security badges can be lost, stolen or forged. Theoretically, microchip implants are much more permanent and much more secure, and that is one of the big selling points. The following is what the chief medical officer of Biohax recently told Fox News

“The chip implant is a secure way of ensuring that a person’s digital identity is linked to their physical identity. It enables access management in a way that protects individual self-sovereignty and allows users to control the privacy of their online activity,” Dr. Stewart Southey, the Chief Medical Officer at Biohax International, told Fox News.

Of course once this technology starts to be implemented, there will be some workers that will object.

But if it comes down to a choice between getting the implant or losing their jobs, how many workers do you think will choose to become unemployed?

Yes, there will be some that will sacrifice their jobs. Personally, I will never let anyone put a chip in me. But just like with so many other things, most of the population will simply choose to accept the “new technology”.

Sadly, the mainstream media is now openly telling us that this is coming. For example, the following is an excerpt from a recent Fox News article entitled “Are you ready for a chip implant?”

You walk into a grocery store and pick up eggs. No smartphone? No problem. You swipe your hand across a reader, and the amount is deducted from your bank account.

If that sounds far-fetched, you obviously haven’t been to Sweden recently, where thousands of people have reportedly had chips implanted in their bodies.

And not too long ago, the NBC affiliate in Tampa profiled a mother that desperately wants to implant a microchip into her disabled child for safety reasons

For Steffany Rodroguez-Neely, life is busier than ever. The Bay Area mother-of-three has her hands full 24-hours a day. The ages of her children run the gamut from newborn to teenager. While this Lutz mom prides herself in being an attentive, active, dedicated mother, she’s also a realist. She knows an emergency can happen in a matter of seconds, even to the best of parents.

When Steffany saw the recent tragedy in Pasco County where a toddler wandered into a pond and drowned, her heart was broken. As she talks about it, she shakes her head sadly, closes her eyes and sighs. “It was awful, so sad. You know, good parents have bad things happen,” Steffany told WFLA.

They always like to use the children to make us feel guilty.

The narrative will be that if you are against implantable microchips then you are against child safety and you are a bad person. By now, you have seen how this works on issue after issue. There won’t be any talk about the potential tyranny that government-issued identity microchips could unleash. Instead, all of the talk will be about the “potential benefits” and about how this will make things so much safer “for the children”.

We truly do live in apocalyptic times, and many of us can see where all of this is leading. Unfortunately, we can complain all that we want but the agenda just keeps moving forward.

Not too long ago, a Wisconsin-based company called Three Square Market began implanting microchips in their employees “on a voluntary basis”. In the aftermath of that decision, USA Today published an article entitled “You will get chipped — eventually”. Here are a few lines from that article…

You will get chipped. It’s just a matter of time.

In the aftermath of a Wisconsin firm embedding microchips in employees last week to ditch company badges and corporate logons, the Internet has entered into full-throated debate.

Can you see the psychological tricks that they are using on us?

They want you to believe that it is inevitable and that everyone around you will eventually give in and get chipped.

As for me and my house, we will never be chipped under any circumstances. Everything will be “voluntary” in the beginning, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out how this story will end.

Are They Telling Us What Is Coming? The Mainstream Media Boldly Declares “You Will Be Microchipped”

At one time, the notion that the general population would be microchipped someday was a “conspiracy theory”, but now the mainstream media is coming right out and telling us that we will all get chipped. It is almost as if they are trying to mentally condition us to accept what is coming. Of course it is being portrayed as “cool” and “trendy”, and a lot of people will be fooled by that. But if someday “identity chips” are required for the entire population, the potential for tyranny would be off the charts. Unfortunately, some sort of permanent digital identification is increasingly being pushed as the solution to problems such as identity theft, tax evasion, illegal immigration and money laundering. And tech companies would love to have a universal way to confirm the identities of individuals on the Internet. But very few people are talking about the dark side of this technology, and that is a very frightening thing.

Earlier this month, USA Today published an article entitled “You will get chipped — eventually”. The following is a short excerpt…

You will get chipped. It’s just a matter of time.

In the aftermath of a Wisconsin firm embedding microchips in employees last week to ditch company badges and corporate logons, the Internet has entered into full-throated debate.

No, I will not ever be microchipped.

But how many others feel the same way?

Obviously societal attitudes are changing, and a professor interviewed by USA Today is quite confident that it “will happen to everybody”

“It will happen to everybody,” says Noelle Chesley, 49, associate professor of sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. “But not this year, and not in 2018. Maybe not my generation, but certainly that of my kids.”

Initially, implantable microchips will be touted as the wave of the future. We will be told that they will make our lives so much easier and more convenient, and the USA Today article made a big deal of that

This would go beyond paying with your smartphone. Instead, chipped customers would simply wave their hands in lieu of Apple Pay and other mobile-payment systems.

The benefits don’t stop there. In the future, consumers could zip through airport scanners sans passport or drivers license; open doors; start cars; and operate home automation systems. All of it, if the technology pans out, with the simple wave of a hand.

For a long time I have warned that this was coming, and some people are already willingly microchipping themselves.

For example, a self-declared “cyborg” in Canada named Russ Foxx has embedded multiple microchips into various areas of his body…

Canadian Russ Foxx, 36, has had over 100 body alterations ranging from ultraviolet tattoos to silicon horns implanted into his forehead.

The body modification artist recently showcased some of the many uses for the chips that lie under his skin – including the ability to unlock a hand-made wooden concealment table ‘hands free’.

While the modifications are extreme, Mr Foxx says ‘anyone who carries keys’ could benefit from the chip implants – which are no larger than a grain of rice.

Foxx says that the process of implanting the chips is easy and relatively painless

The process of implanting the self-installed RFID (radio frequency identification) and NFC (near-field communication) transponders takes just a few seconds.

According to Mr Foxx, who is from Vancouver, Canada, the surgery is painless as the implants are just 2mm by 12mm in size.

Of course Foxx is far from alone.

Thousands of other tech enthusiasts around the globe are chipping themselves, and there is even a company in the U.S. that has sold tens of thousands of these chips

In Sweden, BioHax says nearly 3,000 customers have had its chip embedded to do many things, including ride the national rail system without having to show the conductor a ticket.

In the U.S., Dangerous Things, a Seattle-based firm, says it has sold “tens of thousands” of chips to consumers via its website. The chip and installation cost about $200.

After years of being a subculture, “the time is now” for chips to be more commonly used, says Amal Graafstra, founder of Dangerous Things. “We’re going to start to see chip implants get the same realm of acceptance as piercings and tattoos do now.”

What in the world is happening to us?

Our culture is rapidly being transformed, and the world of tomorrow is going to be a very strange place indeed…

1000s Of People In Sweden Are Willingly Microchipping Their Own Hands, And It Is Part Of The “Transhuman” Movement That Is Sweeping The Globe

The future is coming, and it is going to look very strange.  In the past, many authors had raised the possibility of tyrannical governments forcibly microchipping their own populations someday, but what if most of humanity actually embraces this new technology enthusiastically?  Today, thousands of people in Sweden are eagerly having microchips inserted into their own hands, and it is rapidly becoming a natural part of society.  Even in the United States, at one time there was great resistance to the idea of microchipping our pets, but now it is almost universally accepted.  Personal microchips are being promoted as a way to make routine tasks faster, easier and more convenient, and Swedish “biohackers” are quite thrilled to be on the cutting edge of this new trend

Thousands of people in Sweden have inserted microchips, which can function as contactless credit cards, key cards and even rail cards, into their bodies. Once the chip is underneath your skin, there is no longer any need to worry about misplacing a card or carrying a heavy wallet. But for many people, the idea of carrying a microchip in their body feels more dystopian than practical.

Some have suggested that Sweden’s strong welfare state may be the cause of this recent trend. But actually, the factors behind why roughly 3,500 Swedes have had microchips implanted in them are more complex than you might expect. This phenomenon reflects Sweden’s unique biohacking scene. If you look underneath the surface, Sweden’s love affair with all things digital goes much deeper than these microchips.

Personally, I will never have a microchip inserted into my hand, but others desire to go far beyond something as simple as that.  In Sweden, vast numbers of young people have embraced the idea that we can use technology to make humanity better, and that is why most Swedish “biohackers” are also involved in the transhumanist movement

Swedish biohackers are generally part of the transhumanist movement. And it is the transhumanists – or more specifically the subgroup “grinders” – who have been inserting NFC chips somewhere between the thumb and the index finger of thousands of Swedes. These are the same microchips that have been used for decades to track animals and packages.

Sweden has been a hotbed for transhumanism for a very long time.  In fact, a prominent transhumanist foundation known as “Humanity+” was co-founded by a Swedish man named Nick Bostrom in 1998.

If you start looking into this movement, you will quickly discover that the word “transhuman” literally means “beyond human”.  Transhumanists believe that it is time for humanity to take control of our own evolution.  By editing our DNA and merging with technology, they believe that “post-humans” can become far superior to the humans of today.

Just imagine the draw that this could have for some people as this type of technology begins to take off.  Do you think that there are some young people out there that would be eager to have “superhuman powers” and radically extended lifespans?  On a broader societal level, we will be told that fixing humanity’s “flaws” could ultimately mean the eradication of all sickness, disease, poverty and war.

Who wouldn’t want that?

In the end, the goal would be to essentially become our own “gods”.  Just consider the following excerpt from a recent article in the Guardian

The aims of the transhumanist movement are summed up by Mark O’Connell in his book To Be a Machine, which last week won the Wellcome Book prize. “It is their belief that we can and should eradicate ageing as a cause of death; that we can and should use technology to augment our bodies and our minds; that we can and should merge with machines, remaking ourselves, finally, in the image of our own higher ideals.”

The idea of technologically enhancing our bodies is not new. But the extent to which transhumanists take the concept is. In the past, we made devices such as wooden legs, hearing aids, spectacles and false teeth. In future, we might use implants to augment our senses so we can detect infrared or ultraviolet radiation directly or boost our cognitive processes by connecting ourselves to memory chips. Ultimately, by merging man and machine, science will produce humans who have vastly increased intelligence, strength, and lifespans; a near embodiment of gods.

If you resist this movement, you and your children could end up being second class citizens.  You would be weaker, slower and a whole lot less intelligent than “post-humans” that have been “enhanced”, and you would likely die a whole lot quicker too.

In fact, one of the primary goals of the transhumanist movement is “eternal life”.  The following is a short excerpt from an ExtremeTech article

One of the core concepts in transhumanist thinking is life extension: Through genetic engineering, nanotech, cloning, and other emerging technologies, eternal life may soon be possible. Likewise, transhumanists are interested in the ever-increasing number of technologies that can boost our physical, intellectual, and psychological capabilities beyond what humans are naturally capable of (thus the term transhuman). Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), for example, which speeds up reaction times and learning speed by running a very weak electric current through your brain, has already been used by the US military to train snipers. On the more extreme side, transhumanism deals with the concepts of mind uploading (to a computer), and what happens when we finally craft a computer with greater-than-human intelligence (the technological singularity).

And don’t think that all of this is too far away.

In a previous article, I discussed one very disturbing survey that found that approximately one-fourth of all professionals in the 18 to 50-year-old age bracket would like to connect their brains directly to the Internet right now.

Many thinkers believe that artificial intelligence will continue to advance at an exponential rate and will soon become far superior to human intelligence.

Once that happens, many transhumanists anticipate that we will merge with artificial intelligence and that this will create a whole new world.  Prominent transhumanist Ray Kurzweil believes that we “will become essentially god-like in our powers”, and fellow transhumanist Mark Pesce believes that such a merger will allow us “to become as gods”.

What I am referring to is a moment in time that transhumanists have dubbed “the singularity”.  The following is what Max Tegmark, the acclaimed author of Our Mathematical Universe: My Quest for the Ultimate Nature of Reality, recently said about what life on this planet will be like after that event…

After this, life on Earth would never be the same. Whoever or whatever controls this technology would rapidly become the world’s wealthiest and most powerful, outsmarting all financial markets, out-inventing and out-patenting all human researchers, and out-manipulating all human leaders. Even if we humans nominally merge with such machines, we might have no guarantees whatsoever about the ultimate outcome, making it feel less like a merger and more like a hostile corporate takeover.

That certainly does not sound like a positive future to me.

At this moment technology is advancing at a pace never seen before in human history, and our society is going to be transformed in ways that we cannot even imagine right now.

The transhumanists are promising to usher in a wonderful new utopia that will be the greatest era that humanity has ever known, but others believe that path will only lead to hell on Earth.

As for me, I like how I was made in the first place, and so they can keep their microchips and other technological enhancements because I don’t want them.

NBC News Says That Someday We Will Microchip All Of Our Children

Futuristic Children - Public Domain

Would you allow microchips to be surgically implanted in your children if that would keep them safer? This is already being done to pets on a widespread basis, and a shocking local NBC News report is promoting the idea that if it is good for our pets, then we should be doing it to our children as well. As you will see below, the report even puts a guilt trip on parents by asking them this question: “How far would you go to keep your children secure?” Of course most parents very much want to keep their children safe, and a microchip would enable authorities to track them down if they were lost or stolen. But is this really a good idea? And where is all of this technology eventually leading? If you have not seen this very disturbing local NBC News report yet, you can view it right here

In the video, the reporter says that our children could be implanted with microchips “the size of a grain of rice” and that there would be “little to no health risks” involved.

And near the end of the report, she insists that “we could see those microchips in everyone” eventually.

Wow.

I am speechless.

The report also quoted an electronics expert who claimed that testing of these microchips “is being done right now”

The piece flips back to pushing the idea when it quotes electronics expert Stuart Lipoff, who asserts that microchipping children is safe and inevitable.

“People should be aware that testing is being done right now. The military is not only testing this out, but already utilizes its properties. It’s not a matter of if it will happen, but when,” states Lipoff.

Of course if widespread microchipping of the population does start happening, at first it will likely be purely voluntary. But once enough of the population starts adopting the idea, it will be really easy for the government to make it mandatory.

Just imagine a world where physical cash was a thing of the past and you could not buy, sell, get a job or open a bank account without your government-issued microchip identification.

Will you allow yourself and your family to be chipped when that day arrives?

If not, how will you eat?

How will you survive?

What will you do when your children come crying to you for food?

I am certainly not saying that you should allow yourself to be chipped. I know that nobody is ever chipping me. But what I am saying is that people are going to be faced with some absolutely heart-breaking choices.

Just recently, I wrote about a new form of digital currency that is intended to replace the physical dollars that we use now and also replace alternative currencies such as Bitcoin. It was unveiled in front of about 100 top Wall Street executives recently during a secret meeting in New York City. To give you an idea of just how rapidly the concept of a cashless society is advancing, I want to share with you a brief excerpt from an article that I recently wrote about this new technology…

—–

Last month, a “secret meeting” that involved more than 100 executives from some of the biggest financial institutions in the United States was held in New York City. During this “secret meeting“, a company known as “Chain” unveiled a technology that transforms U.S. dollars into “pure digital assets”. Reportedly, there were representatives from Nasdaq, Citigroup, Visa, Fidelity, Fiserv and Pfizer in the room, and Chain also claims to be partnering with Capital One, State Street, and First Data. This “revolutionary” technology is intended to completely change the way that we use money, and it would represent a major step toward a cashless society. But if this new digital cash system is going to be so good for society, why was it unveiled during a secret meeting for Wall Street bankers? Is there something more going on here than we are being told?

None of us probably would have ever heard about this secret meeting if it was not for a report in Bloomberg. The following comes from their article entitled “Inside the Secret Meeting Where Wall Street Tested Digital Cash“…

On a recent Monday in April, more than 100 executives from some of the world’s largest financial institutions gathered for a private meeting at the Times Square office of Nasdaq Inc. They weren’t there to just talk about blockchain, the new technology some predict will transform finance, but to build and experiment with the software.

By the end of the day, they had seen something revolutionary: U.S. dollars transformed into pure digital assets, able to be used to execute and settle a trade instantly. That’s the promise of a blockchain, where the cumbersome and error-prone system that takes days to move money across town or around the world is replaced with almost instant certainty.

So it is not just Michael Snyder from The Economic Collapse Blog that is referring to this gathering as a “secret meeting”. This is actually how it was described by Bloomberg. And I think that there is a very good reason why this meeting was held in secret, because many in the general public would definitely be alarmed by this giant step toward a cashless society.

—–

Right now, more than 400 billion cashless transactions are conducted around the world each year, and that number is growing very quickly.

And when our system becomes entirely cashless, there will be no more stuffing your mattress with cash and we will all be forced to deal with the banks.

What that day arrives, all of a sudden the government will be able to serve as the gatekeeper for who is allowed to access the system and who is not.

It would be very easy to impose a tax, require some sort of loyalty oath, or mandate some form of microchip identification as a condition for participating in the cashless system.

When we get to that point, what will you do?

In the end, that is something that we all need to be considering very carefully…

Bill Gates funds birth control microchip that lasts 16 years inside the body and can be turned on or off with remote control

Bill Gates

Helped along by one of the world’s most notable billionaires, a U.S. firm is developing a tiny implant that acts as a contraceptive for 16 years — and can be turned on or off using a remote control.

The birth control microchip, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, would hold nearly two decades worth of a hormone commonly used in contraceptives and dispense 30 micrograms a day, according to a report from the MIT Technology Review.

The new birth control, which is set to begin preclinical testing next year with hopes of putting it on shelves in 2018, can be implanted in the buttocks, upper arm or abdomen.

During Mr. Gates’s tour of an MIT lab in 2012, he spoke with Professor Robert Langer about the possibility of a new birth control that could be activated and deactivated over a long period of time — sparing women a trip to the clinic to remove their contraceptive implant whenever they plan to get pregnant, the Technology Review reported.
