Pregnancy Test - Public Domain

A typical Christmas shopping list usually consists of toys, electronics, gift cards, etc. But now, some women are adding positive pregnancy tests to their list — and checking it twice.

Women across the country are selling and buying positive pregnancy tests on Craigslist.

One post from Claremore, Oklahoma offered a positive pregnancy test for $20.

The advertisement stated: ‘I have positive pregnancy test for those of you who need a little help holding onto your man through the holidays, shoot me a message for $20 each.’

Hmm, the “positive” lines go away after a a few hours of being exposed to air, and also a MAN’S pee turns these tests positive, as does the pee from a post-menopausal woman or a spayed/neutered pet. These tests just look for the balance of estrogen vs. testosterone, and pregnant girls’ bodies stop producing estrogen at the normal rate once she becomes pregnant, thus raising her ratio of testosterone. Dudes and old ladies and fixed pets already have higher testosterone levels in their pee, and no woman would have to BUY a false pregnancy test that will fade to nothing in a few hours anyway.

Fake story keeps popping up every few years. No man is going to believe that a peed-on stick means HE is any father.
