All Of A Sudden, There Is A Tremendous Amount Of Political Chatter About Creating A Palestinian State In The Middle East

For decades, U.S. presidents have dreamed of being able to bring “peace” to the Middle East by brokering a comprehensive peace deal that includes a “two-state solution”, but up to this point nobody has been able to pull off that seemingly impossible goal.  Over the years, just getting the Israelis and Palestinians to sit down together at the same negotiating table has proven to be extremely challenging, and there were no direct talks of any substance at all during Trump’s four years in the White House.  But now Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian leaders both seem open to negotiations, and the Biden administration has made it exceedingly clear that there will be a major push for a “two-state solution” in the near future.  This is extremely troubling, because it would be a colossal error for the U.S. to broker a deal that would lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state in the Middle East.

Over the past 7 days, there has been a tremendous amount of political chatter about a “two-state solution”.  Last Sunday, Palestinian leaders sent a letter to the White House which stated that they are “committed to the establishment of a Palestinian state”

The Palestinian Authority (PA) sent an official letter to the White House claiming that all factions, including Hamas, were committed to the establishment of a Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The letter was delivered by Hussein Al-Sheikh, the PA’s Head of the General Authority of Civil Affairs, to U.S. President Joe Biden’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs Hady Amr.

Then on Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi that the Biden administration is extremely focused on the goal of achieving a “two-state resolution”…

The Biden administration is committed to a two-state resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi when the two men spoke on Monday night.

“The secretary addressed the US approach towards a more peaceful, secure and prosperous future for Israelis, Palestinians and the greater Middle East,” Blinken’s office said.

After U.S. officials attended an international meeting on Middle East peace on Tuesday, the State Department once again reiterated the Biden administration’s commitment to “a negotiated two-state solution”

“During the discussion, the United States reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to advancing prosperity, security, and freedom for both Israelis and Palestinians and to preserve the prospects of a negotiated two-state solution in which Israel lives in peace and security alongside a viable Palestinian state,” the State Department said in a statement.

“The United States underscored the commitment to supporting economic and humanitarian assistance and the need to see progress on outstanding projects that will improve the lives of the Palestinian people, while urging all parties to avoid unilateral steps that make a two-state solution more difficult to achieve,” it said.

Subsequently, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke directly to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about a two-state solution on Wednesday.

The following is what Pelosi said about her discussion with Netanyahu on Twitter

Today, I spoke w/ @IsraeliPM to reaffirm the unbreakable bond between our nations & Congress’s unwavering support for a safe & secure Israel. We discussed COVID response & our shared hope for regional peace, including a just, stable & enduring 2-state solution.

Many have assumed that Netanyahu would stand in the way of a “two-state solution”, but he has always said that he is open to getting back to the negotiating table.

And many of the agreements that have been brokered between Israel and various Arab nations in recent months have been made with the understanding that Netanyahu will be willing to sit down with the Palestinians and make progress toward a “two-state solution”.

Netanyahu knows that if he refuses to negotiate that all of the progress that he has made with Arab nations in the region could be reversed very rapidly.

Unfortunately, even though he won’t admit it publicly, Netanyahu appears to believe that a Palestinian state is inevitable.

Of course with elections looming, Israel could have a new leader soon, and that leader may be even more receptive to a Palestinian state than Netanyahu is.

But no matter who wins the upcoming election, I don’t expect anything to happen right away.

The Iranian problem is of much more immediate concern to Israeli leaders, and I think that they would feel much more comfortable negotiating peace with the Palestinians if that crisis was resolved.

At some point a major conflict with Iran will erupt, and it won’t be pretty.

We don’t know exactly when it will happen, but it could potentially be soon.  On Thursday, the U.S. military made headlines all over the world when it bombed Iranian-backed forces inside Syria…

The United States launched airstrikes in Syria on Thursday, targeting facilities near the Iraqi border used by Iranian-backed militia groups. The Pentagon said the strikes were retaliation for a rocket attack in Iraq earlier this month that killed one civilian contractor and wounded a U.S. service member and other coalition troops.

If the Israelis felt that the Iranian threat had been removed, I think that they would be quite receptive to negotiations on a final peace deal with the Palestinians.

And someday the U.S. government will be involved in brokering an agreement that formally establishes a Palestinian state.  This is one of the most important events that we are watching for, and once that line is crossed we will never be able to go back.

I have written numerous articles about why it is so important for the U.S. not to be involved in the dividing of the land of Israel, and I will continue to sound the alarm.

Unfortunately, Joe Biden and his minions are definitely not listening to watchmen like me.

Throughout his campaign for the presidency, Joe Biden made it quite clear that he is 100 percent committed to a Palestinian state.

And Kamala Harris has also not moved from her position that a Palestinian state must be established if Israel is going to have peace.

Personally, I believe that there will be a tremendous push for a “two-state solution” during the Biden administration, and I believe that it is quite likely that a Palestinian state will be established during these four years.

But if it doesn’t happen during this administration, it will almost certainly happen during the next one.

We have reached such a critical point in history, and we are on the verge of crossing a line that will never be able to be uncrossed.

  1. You think Netanyahu cares about a Palestinian state? The guy is a snake and knows how to play both Democrats and Republicans. How can he talk about a Palestinian state while at the same time confiscating land and knocking down Palestinian homes while also killing protesters with live ammunition. Mr Snyder Palestinians don’t deserve their own state only Israel and US do?

    • Here’s my question Wth does this have t do with the US, Americans have enough trouble with corrupt Government in place. But why ask the US, guess this makes sense what my point is. I’m trying to say if Israel and Palestinian wish to have two separate states who’s business is it. Each time I read any headlines like this it almost feels like other countries are asking the US permission to do anything. These people in government could care less about their citizens. It’s all about the almighty $ and control. I will say this if anyone wants peace and their own states. Cant be setting back allowing people inside Syria bomb Israel daily as they currently are. The worlds a mess. Have a dear friend who’s title is Dr in Egypt, he showed me Land that was Israel early 30s-40s. Israel was a tiny spec on the map compared to today, and I have seen footage with stories how there’s this man from Germany there in Israel helping Israel develop land they take outside their area from Palestinians. It’s WRONG. Israel is just like this his current administration, pretends to be for the people when in fact there out to rob individuals. Everyone deserves peace the right to live without fear of other countries making up junk to force them from there homes.

  2. Israel is “under the gun” in more ways than one. They appear to always be the “occupier” of a land that frankly was given to them by a loving Father who will not take lightly the separating of this Holy Land

As Netanyahu once said (I believe) during a speech at the U N that (paraphrased): ” In America, you are innocent until proven guilty. For Israel, we are guilty until proven guilty”

You have been sounding the alarm for some time as I have, that nothing good will come from any two state solution. The Arab world’s main objective is to push Israel into the sea…

A “two-state solution” will never quell the hate the Arabs have for Israel 🇮🇱 be blessed brother…

    • The land was given to them by Europe – would be like China giving away Florida, wouldn’t jive well in this country. Evangelicals will support any evil Israel stoops to as long as it brings about the Messiah. I’m pretty sure Jesus wouldn’t agree with that. Christians, Jews and Muslims – 3 children fighting over who daddy loves best…

    • This is true, I mentioned in a reply my first Question is why do countries seem to ask the US what and what not it can do! And this garbage they quote Harris saying must be new made up lies. This woman hates Israel Jewish people. When running for President she made a statement that sent shock around the US religious groups. Harris said when I’m President my first one hundred days as President I will relocate that Capital by removing it from Israel. Don’t get me wrong I believe we all should be able to live freely from attacks from neighboring countries are Providences.
Many thought how dare her who is she to make this outrageous statement. Her plan she said the Capital needed to be located in Pakistan maybe even Egypt. I personally don’t know enough about Egypt Israel other then these people have seem to hate one another since the messiah walked the earth. US news sure doesn’t show the American people daily life in these countries. Nor do they talk about the daily attacks on Israel within Syria supposedly from Iranians. Last month there was a video from the history channel on YouTube. They showed a map of Israel in the 40s there was not much land. Fast forward 2021 Israel has grown tremendously. This story tells about a older woman who lived just outside of Israel. Her home 50+ years she raised her children there. Her parents before her it belonged to one of her parents as a child. So apparently this home and land had been in the family for many years well over 100, years. Her Story, Israel claimed her home and land she was fighting them in court. Her appeal theyd leave it at that tell they would share what happened at the end of the video. Meanwhile they told of a man there in Israel from Germany wealthy helping Israel develop business, homes etc… he said he’s turned a great deal of property into a wealth for Israel. At the end this woman lost her appeal. The home her parents knew her children herself gone at the request MOVE. I might not approve of all the fighting, lying by these radical groups. But there’s nothing right about sucking up land that originally didn’t belong to you either. Just because there are these radical groups I’m sure not everyone within these citys feel all this hate and anger. Either way it’s not or shouldn’t be up to the US where Capitals are located or how many states there are. Just like this administration over that take over in another country. Biden told those people there he believes in a democracy and won’t allow anyone to steal the people’s votes. Yeah ok snake in the grass he needs to eat those words. Biden and his administration are dangerous people he took over a month to reach out to Israel, while in the background working with Europe on being involved with Iran. Pay attention to what the media is saying and what their not saying. Biden tells Americans he will not lift sanctions on Iran. In thr the background you have Europe making comments how excited they are that the US has returned to the nuclear deal. Which is it! You stand with Israel or your with Europe & Iran.
That is another thing. Iran shows its hatred towards America. The US thinks it’s citizens are ignorant. Who remembers when Clinton was Us ambassador took her trip to Iran. She with the UN met with the Iran President, he only allowed them to enter two buildings told them the rest was off limits. They never stopped developing nuclear weapons. There’s leaked out articles from FBI back then. Granite bunkers that hid nuclear weapons. Iranian tv two months ago shared images of their nuclear weapons.

It’s all a mess, if your religious by any means. We are definitely moving one step closer to the Messiahs return. And I mean the son of God, not a messiah born in the 80s or 90s. God help us all. Greedy controlling Governments. The US best worry about their own states Americans are wising up to their LIES.

  3. Who cares what happens over there after land was taken from the Palestinians, given by England and France? Frankly, the war-crimes seen over there and the militarism they’re using to enforce the vaccine passport ‘mark’ on everyone – they’ve certainly lost their way and become what they despise the most. America loses when they involve themselves in the Middle East at the behest of evangelicals banging a drum for the second coming…
