One EPA employee, for instance, was too busy getting drunk during work hours. He even got caught driving to work under the influence. And not just once, either. As it turns out, he had been indulging for several years. His sanction? None. The EPA allowed him to retire before termination.
For watching pornography at work for the past several years, a public servant receiving over $100,000 annually was suspended without pay for five days.
Another employee was stealing EPA property and selling it for quick cash, because wasting taxpayers’ money to begin with was simply not bad enough.
