A Mississippi man who received a heartfelt note from his granddaughter while in the hospital this week died within hours of receiving it.
Lee Roy Watkins was given the note Thursday morning by 7-year-old Cadence at Covington County Hospital, WDAM reported on Friday.
Cadence’s note read: ‘I love you! Get better soon!
‘God is ready! He wants to see you!’
It has been reported he died Thursday evening.
