John Boehner: Republicans won’t repeal and replace Obamacare

Former House Speaker John Boehner predicted on Thursday that a full repeal and replace of Obamacare is “not going to happen.”

Boehner, who resigned in 2015 amid unrest among conservatives, said at an Orlando health care conference that the idea that a repeal-and-replace plan would blitz through Congress is just “happy talk.”

Instead, he said changes to former President Barack Obama’s signature legislative achievement would likely be relatively modest.

  1. Mr. John Boehner should know.
He dealt with the Congress for many years.
I think it made him an alcoholic.
He looks much better now in the photos. Retirement agrees with him.
A better question might be WHO owns our Congressman?
Or is it WHOM? Want to know? Look up who donated what to get them elected. Then the con is over. You will know who they report to and get directions from.
We voted for the party simply because they promised in front of everyone that they would repeal Obamacare.
Nothing was said about replacing it with something better or worse.
We do not want a plan. Any plan taking the place of Obamacare.
The choice is simple. Yes or No.
I don’t want lengthy excuses. Yes or No.
In those very simple words we as a silent majority of people will understand whether or not the people representing us are trustworthy or not.
The silent majority of people only care about what you take out of our wallets at the end of the week when our paycheck goes direct deposit into our bank account.
Is the health financial system fair?
    Not really.
Is our system turned socialist? Yes.
Built into the laws of this land are a whole bunch of laws that favor the bum over the worker.
Maybe that is because we have a bunch of silver-tongued con-artist bums in the Congress.
The trend is to take care of everybody that doesn’t work for a living.
There are more of them than there are of us.
On Medicaid on paper you have no money.
So they give you the royal treatment on everything you need.
They will pay a poor person 800 dollars a month to live on with Social Security. This particular person worked for 20 years as a nurse aid.
She got roughly $800 to live on.
As a person diagnosed with Dementia the nursing home got roughly $6,000 a month to take care of her under Medicaid after all her funds were exhausted within 60 days. That is the law.
Anything she earned in life is gone.
But she got first rate care. Her dental and eyesight expenses were also taken care of.
The idea behind socialists is to every one their ability and everyone their need.
The two do not have to be close.
Obamacare has half the population that is working paying for the half that are basically not capable of working or so they say.
It is political dynamite to repeal it without replacing it for all the people out there on it that do not have a dime to their name. Those people are also people that might vote or not. I think they are too lazy to vote and that is why Trump got in. Despite every crooked trick in the book to keep him out by his opposition.
Yet that is exactly why they are elected this term by the people that work.
John knows the logistics and mechanics of the Congress better than anyone I know.
I suggest Trump needs his qualifications much more than I do. He can lay his finger on the reality of the Congress and use it to get something done for Trump. All Trump has to do is listen very closely and follow his advice.
Even a competent ship captain has turn the wheel over to a pilot in a local situation or face the loss of his ship.
That is likely to happen here.
