After arguing with her family — and drinking — Friday night in Riverside, Calif., 37-year-old Soukvilay Barton headed for her BMW convertible in the garage.
Her father, Bounmy Rajsombath, 69, first tried to talk her out of driving while intoxicated, KTLA reports, but when that didn’t work, he stood behind the car in an effort to force her not to drive — but police say Barton backed up and ran right over him, killing him, the Los Angeles Times reports.
