The Dream of the Dogs and the Cat

This morning of May 9, 2005, the Lord brought a previous dream back to my remembrance along with every minute detail. Moreover, I received more of an understanding of this dream than I had attained previously.

In a small area surrounded by thick bushes, I observed a large pale white dog that appeared to be quite harmless; yet, it was evident that he was quite powerful and strong. He lumbered around the area surrounded by the bushes and seemed, at times, to be a bit uncoordinated. There was also a sense of goodness that emanated from him.

Soon, a smaller black dog arrived on the scene that appeared to be snarling and quite belligerent. Moreover, there seemed to be something inherently evil within this dog. He began to annoy, snap and bark at the pale white dog who, at first, just continued to “lumber” around this small clearing. Suddenly, without provocation, the black dog attacked and a fight ensued with some wounds inflicted on both dogs. However, in time, the black dog withdrew from the scene. I felt relieved that the black dog had left and that the white dog had appeared to have prevailed with minimal damage.

Soon, however, the black dog returned but he was not alone. As strange as it may seem, a very large bright red cat that looked like lightning entered the scene. This cat was not a normal looking cat. He was bright red with hair sticking out all over (resembling spikes). His eyes were almost demonic in character and he exemplified a nasty, sinister, hate filled spirit that was truly frightening.

Once again, the black dog began attacking the pale white dog even though he had sustained wounds previously. As they fought, without warning or provocation, the demonic red cat entered the fray. I could not understand why a cat would fight with a dog against another dog. It was truly a confusing scene.

After a terrible battle, the cat and black dog were able to overcome the pale white dog (which I knew had a streak of goodness). I was totally brokenhearted as I viewed the scene and watched the pale white dog struggle under some of the thick bushes that surrounded the little clearing. When the evil cat and dog left, I entered the clearing and spread the bushes apart in order to see if I could help this pale white dog. Unfortunately, the dog was now dead. I got the impression that he truly believed that he was indestructible and just had a desire to go about his own business and not be bothered. I had the most intense feeling of sadness for the pale white dog and I was in tears at his demise. I thought to myself that such a thing could not happen. After all, the white dog was large (although quite clumsy). Moreover, a cat would never fight with a dog against another dog!

I have contemplated this dream for several years, and I had attempted to forget the entire matter (especially since it really caused a profound of sadness that is inexplicable). However, this morning, the Lord caused me to recall the dream in all of its detail. On this occasion, however, the Lord also provided me with some of the interpretation of the highlights of the dream. It was so strange because it all happened in an instant of time.

The large and docile yet powerful pale white dog is the United States of America. The black dog represents a confederation of Islamic nations (principally Iran) along with the terrorist elements which would weaken the stronger seemingly indestructible power of the United States.

The demonic red cat will join this Islamic group at a particular point in time in a strange alliance and attack without warning. These two forces which appear to have nothing in common politically or ideologically will combine their strength since their hatred of the pale white dog (USA) essentially transcends the differences between their two individual philosophies. The pale dog (USA) is clumsy and pale white because it has become careless and dependent upon its own strength as it lives at ease in a clearing with the bushes surrounding it (which harbors great danger). In the final analysis, these two forces will destroy the pale white dog (USA) which will be incomprehensible to most people.

The profound sadness that I demonstrated for the pale white dog is indicative of sorrow for a nation that has forgotten the true source of its strength –the Lord Jesus Christ. If only I good relay the depths of the sorrow I had for that large pale white dog (pale white since it was not living by God’s commandments and statutes believing that all was fine). I am glad that the Lord supplied me with some understanding of the meaning of this dream this morning coupled with the details of the dream itself. The thought of that dead pale white dog still evokes the same sorrow in my spirit as I complete the typing of these words. I seem to have more insight concerning this dream. The Lord is now leading me to read again the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. I don’t know why, but I will proceed to do so as instructed.

May the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Begotten of the Father, the King of all creation, bless and preserve all of you!!!!

I have compiled my dreams and visions for many years on my computer, but I have never felt led to discuss or make public any of them. However, the HS has been bothering me about this particular dream, and it persists in “running” over again after all of these years. I have had numerous dreams and visions over the years, and I just list them and wait.

I feel strongly that this particular dream is about to be fulfilled; moreover, I feel in the spirit that this nation will lose ultimately lose a carrier with great loss of life in any adventure against Iran.

I have had numerous dreams and visions concerning small nukes in US cities, riots, etc over the years; however, this particular one is continually on my mind in every detail. I hope that prayer will delay this; nonetheless, I feel strongly that it will occur in the not too distant future.

The Eagle and the Serpents – (The Angel said, “this has been revealed to you, that you may know, the first bite has been, the second is yet to come, and the third will be its destruction.”)

I dreamt I was walking through a sparsely wooded forest, and suddenly my attention was drawn to an eagle flying high above the tree line. It was a beautiful sight to behold as the eagle rode the thermals, flying in slow lazy arks across the blue sky. I began to quicken my pace, and keep up with the eagle’s flight, all the while keeping an eye on it, noticing that it was slowly descending toward the earth. I followed it for a long time, its descend not being sudden but very gradual.

Finally I came upon a small clearing, where there were no trees, just some bushes on the edges of the green grass.  The eagle landed in the clearing, and began to look around not seeming to notice me.

As I began to wonder what the relevance of this was, a man dressed in white, hands clasped in front of him, appeared beside me, and said, “Be patient, in due time you will see the purpose.”

I was silent as I watched the eagle, and was beginning to grow somewhat impatient, when suddenly, it seemed out of nowhere, a brown snake lunged at the eagle, and bit down on its left wing.  The snake’s strike was very quick and very precise. 

The eagle reacted without delay, clawing and pecking at the snake cutting deep wounds in its underbelly, trying to defend itself and ward off the serpent.

Just as it seemed the eagle was winning the battle, and the serpent was retreating, another serpent appeared, red and black diagonal stripes covering its body, and without hesitation struck out at the eagle’s right wing, biting down, and refusing to release.  After a momentary tug of war the serpent tore off flesh and feathers, leaving a large wound on the eagle’s right wing.

The second bite was much worse than the first, and for an instant the eagle was stunned.  Then a serpent much larger than the previous two, made up of many colors, slithered toward the eagle, opened its jaws, and lunged, taking the whole of the eagle’s head in its mouth before biting down.

The serpents retreated and the man who had been standing beside me, walked to the eagle, knelt down, picked it up, and held it in his cupped hands.  The look of grief on his face was beyond any I have seen in my life.  Just seeing the look on the man’s face broke your heart.

The man continued to look down at the eagle, and with a pained voice said,

“The true tragedy, is that at any moment it could have sought the safety of the above, it could have soared toward the heavens and would have found its protection.   This has been revealed to you, that you may know, the first bite has been, the second is yet to come, and the third will be its destruction.”

I watched for a long time as the man held the eagle in the palms of his hands, the pained expression never leaving his features.  I was too stunned to speak, or ask any questions, what I had seen having seemed so real.  The feeling followed me into my waking hours as well, and each time I closed my eyes I saw the entire scene play before my eyes throughout the day.

One thing that I feel I need to share with you is that the second bite seemed to come from an unexpected place.  Although I have my own opinion concerning this, I choose to keep it to myself, because expounding on personal opinion is a dangerous thing when it comes to things that God reveals.

I was hesitant in sharing this dream, because I know some will perceive it as a reason to fear.  It is not a reason to fear, but a reason to be stirred, and emboldened for the kingdom of God.  The reality, is that these are the times we are living in, and I for one am thankful to God for his forewarnings, knowing that His children will never be unaware of what the future holds.  All I can do is urge you to be watchful, and diligent in your prayers to the Father. This nation, today, is more in need of prayer on its behalf than at any time in its history.  It is the prayers of His children that compels God to relent, and tarry.  Stand in the gap, you are precious in the eyes of God, and He hears your heartfelt supplications.

Joel 2:12-14, “Now, therefore, says the Lord, turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.   So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.”
