(CNS News) At the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, an MSNBC reporter asked Ryan, “The president has said that he wants to revoke security clearances from some former national security officials who still hold them and have made political remarks — is it dangerous to go down that road?”
Speaker Ryan said, “I think he’s trolling people, honestly. This is something that’s in the purview of the executive branch. I think some of these people have already lost their clearances. Some people keep their clearances, it’s something that the executive branch deals with. It’s not really in our purview.”
