Poverty, Crime And Human Feces: The Worst Cities In America Are The Ones Being Run By Democrats

Is it just a coincidence that many of the greatest cities in America became poverty-infested hellholes once the Democrats took charge of things? Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Oakland and Memphis were all once great cities. But after an extended period of control by the Democratic Party, each one of them has become a festering crisis that never seems to end. I thought that I was going to do an article about Baltimore today, but it occurred to me that the exact same things that are happening in Baltimore are also happening in a multitude of other major cities, and the common theme among all of them is that the Democrats are in control. But even though this is the case, voters in those cities just keep choosing Democrats election after election anyway.

Let’s talk about crime first. According to the FBI, Baltimore had the highest murder rate in the entire country last year…

Baltimore had the worst homicide rate among the nation’s 50 largest cities last year and the second-highest violent crime rate overall, according to new data from the FBI.

The grim news was the latest reminder of the sustained cycle of violence that has gripped the city since 2015, when the annual number of homicides soared above 300 for three consecutive years after the unrest that followed Freddie Gray’s death from injuries suffered in police custody.

In fact, it was the highest murder rate that Baltimore had ever seen.

So who runs Baltimore?

Democrats.

But Baltimore is definitely not alone. When you start going down the list, you find a lot more major cities run by Democrats…

#2 Detroit – Run By Democrats

#3 Memphis – Run By Democrats

#4 Chicago – Run By Democrats

#5 Philadelphia – Run By Democrats

And this is certainly not just a recent phenomenon. According to a broader study of major cities, there is a very strong correlation between Democratic control and violent crime…

Using U.S. cities with a population over 100,000 and the most recent FBI statistics on violent crime, USA Today formulated a list of the top ten most dangerous cities in America. Of these ten, eight are currently run by Democratic mayors and city councils, and two are controlled by Independents. Of the past ten mayors of each of the three most violent cities in America — Birmingham, Detroit, and St. Louis — eight have been Democrats. All told, the three most violent cities in this country have been under nearly uninterrupted Democratic control for more than half a century.

So the moral of the story is this – if you want more violent crime, vote for the Democrats.

Not surprisingly, there is also a very strong correlation between Democratic control and poverty.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Democratic-controlled California actually has the highest poverty rate in the entire nation…

Guess which state has the highest poverty rate in the country? Not Mississippi, New Mexico, or West Virginia, but California, where nearly one out of five residents is poor. That’s according to the Census Bureau’s Supplemental Poverty Measure, which factors in the cost of housing, food, utilities and clothing, and which includes noncash government assistance as a form of income.

But aren’t Democrats supposed to be the ones that care about the poor?

Well, they certainly throw a lot of money at the problem, but all of that money does not appear to be helping. In fact, the Los Angeles Times has even admitted that California’s spending on anti-poverty programs “actually seems to have made it worse”…

It’s not as though California policymakers have neglected to wage war on poverty. Sacramento and local governments have spent massive amounts in the cause. Several state and municipal benefit programs overlap with one another; in some cases, individuals with incomes 200% above the poverty line receive benefits. California state and local governments spent nearly $958 billion from 1992 through 2015 on public welfare programs, including cash-assistance payments, vendor payments and “other public welfare,” according to the Census Bureau. California, with 12% of the American population, is home today to about one in three of the nation’s welfare recipients.

The generous spending, then, has not only failed to decrease poverty; it actually seems to have made it worse.

That is a stunning admission from the Los Angeles Times.

And poverty is not just at crisis levels in California.

It will probably not surprise you to learn that nine of the ten poorest cities in the United States are run by Democrats

Referencing data collected by the U.S. Census Bureau, CBS News composed a list of the top ten most impoverished cities in the United States. The ubiquity of Democratic governance is heightened in this context, as nine out of the ten poorest cities are run by Democrats. Combining the past ten mayors of the three poorest cities — Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Detroit — there are twenty-three Democrats, three Socialists, two Independents, and two Republicans. In essence, the three most impoverished cities in America have seen more governance in the past 50 years by Socialists than by Republicans, and the ratio of Democratic governance to Republican governance is about 12:1.

Ouch.

And even the Democratic-controlled cities that are supposedly “thriving” economically are still dealing with squalor on an unprecedented scale.

For example, one investigation found 300 piles of human feces on the streets of downtown San Francisco. The following comes from NPR

San Francisco’s streets are so filthy that at least one infectious disease expert has compared the city to some of the dirtiest slums in the world.

The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit surveyed 153 blocks of the city in February, finding giant mounds of trash and food on the majority of streets. At least 100 discarded needles and more than 300 piles of human feces were also found in downtown San Francisco, according to the report.

The Democratic Party is definitely not the answer, and the Republican Party often makes the mistake of trying to lean closer to the Democratic Party in order to try to win independent voters. But in the process, the GOP seems to have lost the values and principles that once made it so appealing to so many of us.

We need fresh thinking, and we desperately need to return to the values and principles that once made this nation so great. This is what I am proposing, and that is what so many other true conservatives across this land are fighting for.

If we keep doing what we have been doing, we are going to keep getting the same results.

If we want different results, we need real change, and that means getting rid of most of the people that are currently holding political office all across America.

A Record Number of Democratic Challengers Are Outraising Republican Opponents

(Bloomberg) Democrats are hoping a blue wave of support will carry them to victory in this fall’s elections. In the meantime, they’ve caught a green wave of cash—the torrent of money pouring into Democratic campaign coffers helped 73 House candidates outraise Republican incumbents and opponents in races for open seats in the second quarter, a Bloomberg analysis of Federal Election Commission data shows. The more candidates the Democrats can field with the means to run competitive races, the larger the potential blue wave could be, if, as most experts anticipate, a motivated anti-Trump electorate shows up to vote in November. Democrats need to pick up 23 seats to retake control of the House.

42-Year-Old Married Republican City Council Member Had An Affair With A 16-Year-Old Girl After Having Her Sign A Long-Term “Sex Contract”

(The Daily Mail) A married Republican city council member from Connecticut has been charged after he allegedly threatened and entered into a years-long sex contract with a 16-year-old girl he met online.

Jon Landry, 42, was arrested on Friday by Newington Police following a lengthy investigation into the six year affair he was having with the victim.

Investigators say the politician, who has been married for over 17 years and has two daughters, told the victim his name was Jason Davis when they first met online using AOL Instant Messenger back in 2008 when she was just 12.

Ron Paul Warns That Republicans And Democrats In The Senate Are Teaming Up On A Massive “Gun Confiscation Scheme”

Former U.S. Representative Ron Paul says that his sources are telling him that moderate U.S. Senators such as Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham are teaming up with Democrats in the U.S. Senate to push through a horrifying “gun confiscation scheme”

A source inside the US Senate has reported that Republicans and Democrats are teaming up and using the recent tragedy in Texas as the impetus to push through a massive federal gun control bill.

In an email Tuesday night, former Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul released an ominous statement claiming that a source they have in the Senate revealed Democrats are teaming up with Republicans to push through a massive gun control bill.

According to their source, as Paul explained, “Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) are teaming up with Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to ram through one of the worst nationwide gun confiscation schemes ever devised.”

If you love the 2nd Amendment, please share this with as many people as you can so that we can rally support against this…

Wake Up! The Numbers Look Incredibly Good For The Democrats Leading Into The 2018 Midterm Elections

If we truly want to take our government back, we are going to have to fight harder than we have ever fought before. Right now I am seeing so much apathy among Republicans, and that deeply alarms me, because if the 2018 midterm elections were held right now the Democrats would probably take back control of the House and it would be a really close call in the Senate. Conservatives all over the United States need to wake up immediately, because we only have a handful of months to get this thing turned around. In 2016, we gave Republicans control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, and this represented a once in a generation opportunity to fundamentally transform the federal government. Instead, the Republican-controlled Congress has accomplished next to nothing, and the American people are deeply frustrated.

According to Real Clear Politics, Congress currently has an average approval rating of just 14.3 percent and an average disapproval rating of 73.5 percent. Those are absolutely disastrous numbers, and they tell me that we better get our act together or 2018 is going to be a major disaster.

If we didn’t get it after the disastrous election results in New Jersey and Virginia in November, then the debacle in Alabama really should have shaken us up. All over the nation Democrats are raising more money, they have more enthusiasm, and they have more momentum. And a brand new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll that was just released had incredibly bad news for Republicans

A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released on Sunday found that 50% of people said they want Democrats to lead Congress after the 2018 midterm elections, compared to 39% who said they hoped Republicans would retain congressional control.

According to the Journal, the survey result represents a 4-point increase from a similar survey taken in October, and it is the first double-digit advantage for the party since shortly before the 2008 presidential election that resulted in a Democratic super-majority in the Senate, and control of both congressional chambers.

Of course it is easy to dismiss a single poll, but other polls have come up with similar results.

Here is one example

A Monmouth University survey released on Wednesday — conducted by telephone, and with a plus-or-minus 3.5% margin of error— found that 51% of registered voters said they would vote for or lean toward a Democratic candidate if the 2018 elections were held today, compared to just 36% who said they would vote or lean Republican.

Is this dramatic shift in the numbers happening because the American people have suddenly fallen in love with the Democratic Party?

Of course not.

In fact, a recent CNN poll showed that only 37 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the Democratic Party at this point…

Favorable views of the Democratic Party have dropped to their lowest mark in more than a quarter century of polling, according to new numbers from a CNN poll conducted by SSRS.

Only 37% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Democrats, down from 44% in March of this year. A majority, 54%, have an unfavorable view, matching their highest mark in polls from CNN and SSRS, CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup stretching back to 1992.

What this means is that we can still win in 2018, but we have got to get our act together. We have the best message and the best candidates, but we have got to be willing to make sacrifices and put in the hard work that is necessary.

Look, the first primaries for the 2018 midterm elections are just a few months away. There are good pro-Trump candidates running all over the nation, and I have been appalled to see how little support they are receiving. Things are looking incredibly promising for my race here in Idaho, but we need a whole lot more than just one pro-Trump conservative in Congress.

If you are pro-Trump, now is the time to take action. If we allow establishment Republicans to defeat pro-Trump candidates all over the country in the upcoming primaries, we won’t even have anyone decent to vote for by the time November 2018 rolls around.

I understand that people are not accustomed to thinking about politics this time of the year, but the only way that we are going to win in 2018 is if we put in the hard work right now. If we sit back and do nothing, we will end up with the government that we deserve.

There are still races all over America where pro-Trump challengers are needed. It is still not too late to jump in, and if there is not a pro-Trump candidate running for Congress where you live, perhaps you should consider making the leap.

Of course most people cannot afford to spend the time, effort, energy and money that it takes to run for Congress, but everyone can be involved in some way.

If you have extra time, you can volunteer to be part of a campaign in your local area. Others are extremely busy with work but can make a contribution to help get the message out. And even if you are confined to your home all day, you can still help promote good candidates on social media.

If you stand with President Trump, you need to get involved in the 2018 mid-term elections. If we aren’t going to fight for what we believe, we might as well hand Democrats control of everything right now. Because I will tell you that they are far more energized than Republicans right now. They are determined to take Congress back, they are having absolutely no problem recruiting candidates, and those candidates are having no problem raising money and recruiting volunteers.

In 2018, pro-Trump forces will not be able to say that there were not good people to vote for. And many of us will actually win if you will just get behind us.

The presidency of Donald Trump is potentially the last chance in this generation to take our government back. If we blow this opportunity, we might not ever have another one in our entire lifetimes.

This is a call to action that I hope is read by every conservative from the very top to the very bottom all across this nation. We literally have four or five months to turn this thing around, and the clock is ticking.

We can still win in 2018, but we need everyone to wake up right now and start getting engaged.

The future of this nation is literally hanging by a thread, and we desperately need your help. Please join the battle, because it is going to take a total team effort in order to win.

The Republican Party Just Got A Major League Wake Up Call

Tuesday night was a major shock for millions of Republicans, but it shouldn’t have been. I have been warning for months that Democrats were raising lots of money and had more energy and enthusiasm on their side, and it showed. From coast to coast Republicans got trounced, and if we don’t get our act together we are going to get killed in the 2018 mid-term elections. Last November, we witnessed the greatest miracle in the history of U.S. politics, and afterwards millions of conservatives promptly went to sleep. That was a tragic mistake, because we are literally in a battle for the future of America, and at the moment the Democrats have the momentum.

Earlier today, USA Today published a pretty good summary of the carnage that we saw…

Democrats won the governor’s mansions in Virginia and New Jersey. They also flipped a massive number of seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, and Maine voted to expand Medicaid. And voters elected a slew of women and minorities along with several transgender candidates to government offices around the nation.

“The Democratic Party is back,” Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez announced on a call with reporters Wednesday morning. “We’re taking our country back from Donald Trump one election at a time.”

Once upon a time, Virginia was considered a “purple state”, and leading into the election on Tuesday the GOP had a huge edge in the House of Delegates. But now UVA’s Larry Sabato says that it looks like the Democrats may have flipped enough seats to be in control…

Sabato said the high turnout in an off-year, the clear margins of victory and the sheer volume of seats that flipped in the House of Delegates all while rain poured down in Virginia could not be ignored. Voters “were determined to send Trump a message.” Republicans went into Tuesday with a 66-34 advantage in the House of Delegates; by the end of the night, Democrats controlled 48 seats, Republicans 47 and the rest were still undecided.

Do you want to see headlines next November about how the Democrats have taken control of the U.S. Senate or the House of Representatives?

If not, we need to get to work. There are pro-Trump candidates all over the nation that need volunteers, donations and media exposure. If you don’t want the left to run this country, then we are going to have to fight with everything that we have got.

At this point, Democratic leaders can already smell victory. Just consider what Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are saying

Democratic leaders in Congress said Tuesday’s massive victories for their party were a rejection of President Trump and predicted a wave election next year that could even switch control of the U.S. House.

“The door is certainly open for us,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, told reporters as she took stock of Democratic wins at the top in New Jersey and Virginia, and in down-ballot races across the country.

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer said he was reminded of 2005, when Democrats won races in both states, which he said presaged the 2006 mid-term elections that cost the GOP control of both houses of Congress.

And they aren’t the only ones. Mainstream political analysts are also anticipating a victory for Democrats next year. For example, this is what Dave Wasserman said to USA Today about last night’s results…

“It’s hard to look at last night and conclude that Democrats are anything other than the narrow favorites for control of the House next year. The results could unleash more Republican retirements and it could spur Democratic recruitment,” Dave Wasserman, House editor for the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, told USA TODAY. Nearly three dozen Republicans have have left Congress or announced they plan to retire or seek another position at the end of their term. Just about a half-dozen Democrats have said they won’t seek re-election.

In my new book entitled “Living A Life That Really Matters”, I lay out a blueprint for how Republicans should approach 2018. We need to embrace the platform that Donald Trump ran on, because it was a platform that resonated with working class people all over the country.

There will be Republican primaries all over the nation next spring, and that is our opportunity to get pro-Trump candidates on to the ballot next November. There is no time to waste if we want to win.

Because if we sit back and watch the Democrats work harder, raise more money and be more organized, they will absolutely kill us next November and we won’t have anyone to blame but ourselves.

One Year Ago A Miracle Happened

On November 8th, 2016 we witnessed the greatest miracle in the history of American politics. Leading up to election day, virtually all of the experts were boldly assuring us that Hillary Clinton would be the next president of the United States. Personally, I was quite alarmed about what a Hillary Clinton presidency would mean, because Clinton’s vindictiveness is legendary and my anti-Clinton articles had been seen by millions of people. When Trump shocked the world by winning the election, it was like an entirely new day had just dawned in America. If Donald Trump could become president of the United States, literally anything was possible.

President Trump has been visiting Asia this week, but on Wednesday he took a few moments to thank those that voted for him last November…

President Trump marked the anniversary of his 2016 presidential election win by remembering the “deplorables.”

“Congratulations to all of the ‘DEPLORABLES’ and the millions of people who gave us a MASSIVE (304-227) Electoral College landslide victory!” he tweeted Wednesday, featuring a photo of him and some of his aides aboard Air Force Once.

It has been 12 months, but it is still hard to grasp what happened on that historic night. Nobody in the mainstream media seemed to believe that Trump had a chance, and his shock victory took almost the entire nation by surprise. The following is an extended excerpt from an article that I published on the day after Trump’s victory entitled “Do You Believe In Miracles?”

—–

After it was all over, I kind of stumbled around my home lost in my thoughts. I was happy, confused, hopeful, stunned and pensive all at the same time. Like so many others, what I thought I knew about politics turned out to be wrong. But in other ways, the election of Donald Trump has confirmed so much of what I know to be right about America.

Ultimately, it was the American people that decided this election, because the elite were doing their best to absolutely bury him.

Never before has the mainstream media been so openly biased against a major party presidential candidate. For months on end they dumped sewage on Trump, but it didn’t work.

Never before has a major party presidential candidate faced a civil war in his own party on the eve of the election. A whole host of big names in the Republican Party publicly announced that they would not vote for Trump, but it didn’t work.

Never before have we seen a bigger October surprise than the lewd tape from 11 year ago that came out and shocked the world. That would have instantly killed the campaign of any normal politician, but it didn’t kill Trump’s campaign.

From the very beginning it seemed like Trump was at war with almost everyone, and somehow he came out on top in the end.

He beat the Bushes and the Clintons.

He beat the Republicans and the Democrats.

He beat Hollywood and the mainstream media.

He beat the pollsters and the pundits.

He beat the never-Trumpers and the billionaire donors.

He beat Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Beyonce, George Clooney, Matt Damon and Lebron James.

He beat the forces of globalism, elitism and political correctness.

He beat CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and Barack Obama.

He beat them all.

—–

Millions of us that had worked so hard to get Trump elected were absolutely jubilant, but of course there were millions of others that were bitterly disappointed. If you want to take a walk down memory lane, watch this YouTube video that shows a whole host of liberal talking heads melting down in the aftermath of Trump’s win. They also knew that something had just fundamentally changed in America, and they were not happy about it at all.

Sadly, many Republican politicians have still not embraced Trump, and that is a huge mistake.

For example, many believe that Ed Gillespie’s huge loss in Virginia happened because he distanced himself from the president

“Republican Swamp Thing Gillespie Rejected,” Bannon’s Breitbart News declared in a headline.

Gillespie “did not embrace me or what I stand for,” Trump tweeted from Asia.

The rush to destroy Gillespie — who borrowed some tactics from Trump but kept his distance from the president — points to an escalating fight within the party over whether candidates are better off courting Trump and his loyal base or keeping them at arm’s length.

As for me, I am proud to stand with President Trump, and pro-Trump voters all over the nation are getting involved in my campaign for Congress.

Of course Democrats are hoping that the Trump era will be over as soon as possible and that things will then go back to normal.

But that isn’t going to happen. We are here to take our country back, and the Trump movement is only just getting started.

A ‘War’ Has Been Declared On The Republican Establishment, And We Are Going To Win

It is time to flush the toilet in Washington D.C., and I am so glad that Steve Bannon has decided to declare “war” on the Republican establishment. For decades, these globalists have told us what we want to hear during election season, but then once they take office they betray us over and over again. It is time to hold Republican members of Congress responsible for betraying the base, and I am so thankful that Bannon is organizing anti-establishment candidates into a cohesive movement. We are going to challenge Republican incumbents all over the nation in 2018, and we are going to win over and over again.

Just look at what happened in Alabama. The Republican establishment spent more than 30 million dollars against Roy Moore and we still won by a very wide margin.

Now we are going to take that template and repeat it all over the country. During an interview with Sean Hannity on Monday, Steve Bannon boldly declared that his forces are going after every Republican Senator that is up for re-election in 2018 except for Ted Cruz…

On Monday’s edition of Hannity, Breitbart executive chairman and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon talked about his plan to challenge every Republican Senator up for re-election in 2018 in the primary, except Sen. Ted Cruz. Bannon said Republican incumbents have committed “economic hate crimes” against the “forgotten man.”

Bannon said he is declaring “war” on the Republican establishment and those that don’t back what President Trump ran on. He said there is a “new game in town” and promised to “cut off the oxygen” to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and stop his fundraising for establishment candidates. Bannon said any person running for the Senate in 2018 that wants his support must oppose McConnell as the Republican Leader.

I love this approach. No matter how much the Trump administration tries to work with some of these globalists, the truth is that they are never, ever going to get on board with his agenda.

So the answer is voting them out, and that is going to take a lot of money and a lot of hard work. Fortunately, it sounds like Steve Bannon is ready for the battles that are ahead. Here is more from his interview with Sean Hannity

HANNITY: Is this a fair statement: Is Steve Bannon declaring war on the establishment that are not for the working men and women in this country?

BANNON: 100%. We are declaring war on the Republican establishment that does not back the agenda that Donald Trump ran on and the president of the United States, and that’s the agenda we know that backs the working men and women…

Karl Rove, Steven Law, these guys should get the joke. Their donors are coming to us because they are tired of having their money burned up by trying to destroy people like Judge Moore. It’s a new game in town. We are to cut off the oxygen to Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell’s biggest asset is the money. We’re going to make it the biggest liability. We’re going after these guys tooth and nail.

This is music to my ears, because my campaign has already been trying to promote anti-establishment candidates here in Idaho and around the nation. But obviously we need coordination at a national level, and Steve Bannon can do that.

And the environment is right for this kind of movement. The Republicans in Congress have an approval rating that is so small that you can barely see it with a microscope, and the base is sick and tired of these so-called “conservatives” governing like Democrats. The following comes from Rush Limbaugh

“Some people make an argument that there really isn’t a Republican Party left. I mean, there are people who call themselves that and they go out and raise money and they raise a lot,” he said. “But whereas the party used to be known for one, two, or three very serious things, they’re not anymore,” he said. “When the Republican Party joins the Democratic Party on things like amnesty for illegal immigrants — that’s not the Republican Party.”

Of course 2018 is just another stage in the war. In order to boot all of the globalists out, it is going to take an extended period of time. In fact, Steve Bannon says that he is ready to go to battle for the next twenty years

To take your country back – it’s not going to happen in any just one election. This is something you’re going to have to grind out day in and day out for the next five, ten, fifteen, twenty years.

It took us a long time to get here. There’s no magic wand we can wave and drain the swamp. There’s no magic wand we can wave and blow up this establishment. I hate to tell people, you’re going to have to work.

But you know what? The grit, determination and courage of the American working men and women – we are going to win.

If you are sick and tired of the Republicans in Congress getting nothing done, then I hope that you will join this fight.

Very few members of Congress are actively fighting for the things that the conservative base truly wants, and it is time to hold them accountable. Next spring, Republican primaries will be held all over the nation, and the truth is that only a small percentage of the population actually votes in primaries.

If we get active and get mobilized, we can fundamentally transform Republican politics in this country. If you live in Idaho, I would encourage you to get involved in my campaign, and if not I would encourage you to help the anti-establishment candidates in your particular state.

We are sick and tired of politics as usual, and the status quo is simply not good enough anymore.

Let me leave you with one final quote from Steve Bannon: “Nobody is safe. We are coming after all of them and we’re going to win.”

Ann Coulter Is Exactly Right: Every Time Republicans Compromise On Immigration They Get Nothing In Return

When are Republicans going to learn?  In her most recent article, Ann Coulter pointed out that every time Republicans compromise on immigration it turns out to be a total disaster.  If you go back all the way to 1986, the Republicans never got the employer sanctions that they were promised even after the Democrats were given amnesty for four million illegal immigrants.  And every time Republicans have attempted to push amnesty since that time, it has been a disaster for Republican politicians at the polls.

This time around, we are told that we are supposed to compromise on DACA.

Okay, will we get to build a wall in return?

Of course not.

Will our concerns about lightly vetted refugees coming in from hotbeds of Islamic terror be addressed?

Of course not.

In return for compromising on DACA, the Democrats wants to make some nice sounding promises that won’t be too politically damaging that they will be able to easily break in the future.

This has happened time after time, and yet Republicans never seem to get it.  But Ann Coulter sure does

Congress has passed laws requiring that immigrants pay back taxes, learn English, not collect welfare and have good moral character. That’s not too onerous, right? It’s not like we’re requiring them to have any skills or talents that would be valuable to America.

Every single one of these requirements has been scuttled by immigration bureaucrats, federal judges and Democratic presidents. All of ’em. Our immigration bureaucracy is so dedicated to destroying America that it’s made citizens of thousands of convicted felons.

Look, I am certainly not against immigrants.  In fact, I have a great love for those that have risked everything to come here for a better life.

I have great-grandparents on both my mother’s side and my father’s side that were immigrants to this country.

And it is also important to note that Donald Trump’s wife is an immigrant.

This nation was built by immigrants, and we should never forget that.  But the point is that they came in legally.

We need a system that requires that everyone comes in through the front door.  There is nothing unreasonable about that.  But instead our system of legal immigration is a complete and utter nightmare, and meanwhile we are leaving the back door completely wide open.

One of the big reasons why Democrats want more illegal immigration is because they believe that in the long-term it will end up producing more Democratic voters.

And of course many Democrats are also big-time globalists, and the globalists want a world where national borders will eventually become essentially meaningless.

That is why they may talk about “border security” during campaign season but they will never, ever agree to build a wall.  Here is more from Ann Coulter

Every politician swears up and down that he wants a “secure border.” But then these same politicians go absolutely berserk when Trump says he wants to build a wall.

They say we’ll get enforcement right after the amnesty. That’s obviously absurd. When the tub is overflowing, water pouring out of the faucet, across the carpets, down the stairs, up the dining room walls, we don’t debate whether we’re going to dry clean the curtains or throw them out. We don’t argue about whether to use a mop or towels. FIRST: Turn off the water.

It is no longer good enough for politicians to promise us “more border security”.  If someone running for Congress will not specifically commit to building a border wall, do not vote for that individual.

Tens of millions of people have come into this country illegally over the decades, and we need a way to make sure that everyone comes in through the front door from now on.  If something other than a border wall can accomplish that, I would love to hear that proposal.

This is not a crisis that we can put off for another day.  Just consider what has been happening down in Texas.  The following comes from an article that I published in 2015

Today, the number of people that enter Texas illegally is greater than the number of babies being born to citizens of that state. And those illegal immigrants commit a lot of crime. According to Texas state Senator Dan Patrick, illegal immigrants were charged with nearly half a million crimes in his state during one recent four year time period. And he says that there are “at least 100,000 illegal immigrant gang members” living inside the state of Texas right now…

If I get elected to Congress, I am going to work with President Trump to build a border wall and to greatly secure our borders, and I hope that you will join me in this effort.  As President Trump has said, a nation that doesn’t have borders isn’t really a nation at all.  Either we have a country or we don’t.  Like Trump, I am going to fight the agenda of the globalists every step of the way, and we need to work very hard to vote out all of the globalists that are currently representing us in Congress.

They want to label us as “heartless” for being opposed to illegal immigration, but of course that is not the case at all.

In the end, we just want all immigration to be done legally, and if we can get that accomplished that will be good for everybody.

Spineless Jellyfish: After Everything That Has Happened, Does Being A ‘Republican’ Still Mean Something?

The spineless Republicans in Washington have been compromising for so long that it seems like many of them don’t really stand for much of anything these days. I was 10 years old when Ronald Reagan won the 1980 election, and ever since that day I have considered myself to be a conservative. Even at such an early age, Reagan’s message resonated with me, and I felt that I clearly understood what it meant to be a Republican. But now I’m not so sure. Many of the Republicans in Congress are often doing the exact opposite of what Reagan would have done, and this is confusing a lot of people.

For example, just look at the Obamacare debacle. For years, Republican politicians have pledged to repeal Obamacare if we would just give them control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives. So we did that, and Obamacare still has not been repealed. Many are pointing to John McCain’s shocking betrayal on Friday, but the truth is that the effort to do something about Obamacare has been a disaster from the very beginning.

Instead of simply repealing Obamacare, Republican leadership in the House and in the Senate attempted to “replace” Obamacare with a slightly less odious version of Obamacare. But that isn’t what we wanted, and that sure isn’t what we were promised.

I still remember the days when the Republican Party actually believed in free enterprise. Free markets work exceedingly well when you take the shackles off, but for some reason Republicans in Washington don’t seem to want to apply free market principles to our health care system.

At this point, it looks like no health care legislation of any form is going to get through the Senate, and that means that Obamacare is going to remain the law of the land for the foreseeable future.

Just saying that makes me sick to my stomach.

Something else that Republicans used to stand for is limited government. Republican members of Congress have given thousands of speeches about reducing the size of government, and yet it just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

This year the federal government will spend more than 4 trillion dollars for the first time ever. But of course not a single penny could be spent without the approval of the House and the Senate, and the Republicans are fully in control of both.

So why can’t we reduce the size of government?

Is it because many Republicans in Congress actually want big government?

Back in 2010, the Tea Party movement swept Republicans into power in the House. We were promised that the out of control borrowing and spending that the Obama administration was doing would be brought under control.

At that point the national debt had just surpassed 14 trillion dollars.

The Republicans in the House could have stood on their principles and refused to go along with what Obama and the Democrats wanted to do, but instead they betrayed us over and over again, and today the national debt has nearly reached 20 trillion dollars.

Once upon a time the Republican Party was supposed to stand for fiscal responsibility, but I don’t know how we can make that argument to the American people with a straight face anymore.

What in the world is wrong with us?

President Trump promised that he would crack down on illegal immigration and build a wall on the southern border. And since he won the election, building that wall should be a no-brainer.

But instead, many Republican leaders in the House and the Senate want to block the wall. They are not serious about border security and they never have been. And when those RINOs are up for re-election, we should do whatever we can to give them the boot.

I am hopeful that the Republicans in Congress can at least agree on legislation to reduce taxes. If there is one thing that all Republicans should still be able to agree upon, it is that taxes need to be reduced.

Unfortunately, it looks like even this is going to be exceedingly difficult to accomplish. This Congress has been called “the most unproductive in 164 years”, and the clock is ticking. If the Democrats take back control of either the Senate or the House in 2018, President Trump’s agenda will be dead in the water at that point. So it is absolutely imperative that Republicans take advantage of the golden opportunity that they have been given right now, and instead they are completely squandering it.

Sometimes I get so frustrated with them that I want to scream.

On top of everything else, Planned Parenthood has still not been defunded.

Election after election, Republicans use the Pro-Life label to get our votes, but then once they return to Washington they vote to fully fund Planned Parenthood year after year.

Earlier this year, the Democrats threatened to shut down the government if the Republicans did not give them virtually everything that they wanted. And so the Republicans did that – including full funding for Planned Parenthood for the rest of the fiscal year.

Let me be very clear. You cannot be Pro-Life and vote to fund Planned Parenthood. That means that most Republicans in Congress are not truly Pro-Life.

I have pledged that I will never, ever, ever vote for any bill that includes even a single penny of funding for Planned Parenthood, and I am calling on every other Republican politician in the entire nation to make the same pledge.

If a “Pro-Life Republican” will not make this pledge, do not vote for that individual.

It is time that we finally took a stand.

Ever since I started running for Congress, the number one thing that I have been told by members of my own party is that I need to compromise. Many of those that I have talked to actually agree with my positions privately, but they believe that I need to “tone it down” in order to appeal to those “in the middle”.

In essence, they want to try to turn me into John McCain before I am even elected.

What they don’t understand is that I am never going to become just another spineless jellyfish.

In fact, I am going to be hunting for RINOs and doing all that I can to boot them out of office.

If we are going to have any hope of changing this country, we have got to start electing people that actually stand for something again. Ronald Reagan never would have put up with the kind of nonsense that we are witnessing today, and we shouldn’t have to put up with it either.

No More Fake Conservatives

Do you want to know why President Trump can’t seem to get much done in Congress?  It is because many of the “Republicans” in Congress are actually fake conservatives.  For decades, conservative voters have allowed these RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) to use labels such as “Republican”, “conservative” and “Pro-Life” to get votes, but then once they get into office they govern like Democrats and we never seem to hold them accountable.  So even though we have given the Republicans control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, the government continues to function pretty much as it did when the Democrats were running things.

I was ten years old when Ronald Reagan won the 1980 election, and ever since that time I have regarded myself as a conservative.  But for a long time I could never understand why things never really seemed to change very much no matter which party had power.

Unfortunately, the truth is that “Republican” and “conservative” are not synonymous.  And a lot of politicians that use the word “conservative” while they are campaigning are actually quite liberal.  These con artists have fooled us over and over again, and it is time for that to stop.

Just look at what has happened to the national debt since we gave the Republicans control of the House of Representatives during the 2010 elections.  When the new session of Congress opened in January 2011, the U.S. national debt had just passed the 14 trillion dollar mark, and now we stand poised to blow past the 20 trillion dollar mark.

We sent Republicans to Washington to control government spending, and not a single dollar can be spent without the approval of the House, but somehow close to six trillion dollars has been added to the national debt since January 2011.

Are we supposed to believe that is “conservative”?

The solution is actually very simple.  The ridiculous spending demands of the Democrats need to be met with a resounding “NO” by Republicans in the Senate and the House each and every time.

During the Obama years, we added more than a trillion dollars a year to the national debt, and what we are doing to our children and our grandchildren is highly immoral.

Republicans also need to learn how to say “NO” when it comes to Planned Parenthood.

A politician cannot be “Pro-Life” and vote to give Planned Parenthood hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars year after year.  For a long time a lot of fake “Pro-Life” politicians have gotten away with doing this, but we aren’t going to put up with it any longer.

From now on, many of us in the Pro-Life community are going to require that any candidate asking for our support must make a pledge never to vote for any bill that gives even one penny of funding to Planned Parenthood.

If every Republican in the House took this pledge, Planned Parenthood would be defunded automatically.  The Republicans are expected to retain control of the House in 2018, and if that happens House Republicans would be able to block every single bill that attempts to allocate any money to Planned Parenthood.

This is a moral issue that goes way beyond politics.  The blood of 60 million dead children is crying out for justice, and if we do not stop killing babies on an industrial scale there is no hope and no future for our nation.

So let me be very clear.

I will not support any Republican that will not promise to vote against funding for Planned Parenthood every single time.

Not only that, I will do whatever I can to make sure that any such politician is defeated by an opponent that is willing to make such a pledge.

And I greatly applaud President Trump for proposing a budget that would strip every single penny of federal funding from Planned Parenthood…

President Donald Trump’s budget proposal together with the American Health Care Act, which Trump’s proposal embraces, would deny all federal funding to Planned Parenthood through both discretionary Title X grants and Medicaid.

“The budget also follows through on a campaign promise and prohibits any funding in the Labor-HHS appropriations bill for certain entities that provide abortions, including Planned Parenthood,” says a fact sheet published by the Office of Management and Budget. “This prohibition applies to all funds in the bill, including Medicaid.”

And it is about time that Republicans began to rediscover the importance of limited government.  During his first inaugural address, President Reagan famously said that “government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem”.

In an article earlier today, I noted that President Trump is proposing the elimination of 66 federal programs.

That is a good start.

Our founders intended for the individual state governments to have much more power than the federal government, but instead things have been completely flipped around.  At this point, it is almost as if the 10th Amendment doesn’t even exist.

We need to start setting things in order, but for that to be possible we need to make a big move in 2018.

Unfortunately, President Trump is going to have a hard time accomplishing much of anything until we get him a lot more friends in Congress.  Even though the Republicans control the Senate, there doesn’t seem to be much hope of cobbling together enough votes to repeal and replace Obamacare any time soon.  And there are Republican members of both the House and the Senate that are determined to block Trump on a border wall, on trade, on tax reform and on desperately needed regulatory reform.

I have heard from so many people out there that want Donald Trump’s presidency to be successful.  In order for that to happen, we need to send a very large wave of true conservatives to Washington in 2018.

It may seem quite early to start thinking about the 2018 elections, but the truth is that if true conservatives are going to win those races we need to start laying the groundwork now.

If you are a true conservative, and if you are willing to always vote against funding for Planned Parenthood, I would encourage you to think about running for office.  We are going to need good candidates on the federal, state and local levels.

If good men and women sit back and do nothing, the forces that are eating away at our republic like cancer are going to win by default.

If we are going to try to turn America around, now is the time.

Getting President Trump elected was the first step, and now we need to do our part.

America The Debt Pig: We Are A ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ Society – And ‘Pay Later’ Is Rapidly Approaching

America The Pig - Public Domain

If you really wanted to live like a millionaire, you could start doing it right now. All you have to do is to apply for as many credit cards as possible and then begin running up credit card balances like there is no tomorrow. At this point, I know what most of you are probably thinking. You are probably thinking that such a lifestyle would not last for long and that a day of reckoning would eventually come, and you would be exactly right. In fact, anyone that has ever had a tremendous amount of credit card debt knows how painful that day of reckoning can be. To mindlessly run up credit card debt is exceedingly reckless, but unfortunately that is precisely what we have been doing as a nation as a whole. We are a “buy now, pay later” society, and our national day of reckoning is approaching very, very quickly.

Often we like to focus on our exploding national debt, but household debt is out of control too. In fact, the total amount of household debt in the United States is now up to a whopping 12.3 trillion dolllars

In the second quarter, total household debt increased by $35 billion to $12.3 trillion, according to the New York Fed’s latest quarterly report on household debt. That increase was driven by two categories: auto loans and credit cards.

We throw around words like “trillion” so often these days that they often start to lose their meaning. But the truth is that 12.3 trillion dollars is an astounding amount of money. It breaks down to about $38,557 for every man, woman and child in the entire country. So if you have a family of four, your share comes to a grand total of $154,231, and that doesn’t even include corporate debt, local government debt, state government debt or the gigantic debt of the federal government. That number is only for household debt, and there aren’t too many Americans that could cough up their share right at this moment.

Do you remember when I wrote about how credit card companies are specifically targeting less educated and less sophisticated consumers? Well, that is where much of the credit card debt growth has come lately. Just check out these numbers

Now, credit cards are returning among individuals with low credit or subprime credit scores below 660. Among people with credit scores between 620 and 660, the share that had a credit card rose to 58.8% in 2015 from a low of 54.3% in 2013. Among those with scores below 620, the number of people with a credit card increased to 50% from a low of 45.6% two years ago. Both figures for 2015 are the highest since 2008.

In America today, we are enjoying a standard of living that we do not deserve.

We consume far more wealth than we produce. The only way we are able to do that is by going into debt.

Debt takes future consumption and brings it into the present. In other words, we are damaging the future in order to make the present a little bit better. On an individual level, we may enjoy the big screen television we buy with a credit card today, but we are taking away our ability to spend money later. And on a national level, what our unprecedented debt binge is doing to future generations of Americans is beyond criminal.

Earlier this month I explained these things to a live studio audience down at Morningside, and you can view a video of that right here

In this article I haven’t even talked about corporate debt yet. Instead of learning their lessons from the last financial crisis, big corporations have gone on the biggest debt spree of all time. If you can believe it, corporate debt has approximately doubled since the last financial crisis. In other words, since the last recession we have essentially matched the total amount of corporate debt that we accumulated from the beginning of the country up to 2009.

Unfortunately, a lot of that debt is now going bad.

In previous articles I have documented that corporate debt delinquencies are now the highest that they have been since the last financial crisis, and corporate debt defaults are also the highest that they have been since the last financial crisis.

At this point, even the mainstream media is acknowledging that we have a corporate debt “crisis”. The following comes from an article that was just put out by the Denver Post

The number of companies that have defaulted so far this year has already passed the total for all of last year, which itself had the most since the financial crisis. Even among companies considered high-quality, or investment grade, credit-rating agencies say a record number are so stretched financially that they’re one bad quarter or so from being downgraded to “junk” status.

Companies whose debt is already deemed “junk” are in the worst shape in years. To pay back all they owe, they would have to set aside every dollar of their operating earnings over the next eight and a half years, more than twice as long as it would have taken during the 2008 crisis, according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Are you starting to get the picture?

And I haven’t even started talking about our national debt yet. When Barack Obama entered the White House, we were 10.6 trillion dollars in debt. Today, we are 19.4 trillion dollars in debt. That means that we have added 8.8 trillion dollars to the national debt under Obama, which breaks down to an average of 1.1 trillion dollars of additional debt a year.

We have been taking more than 100 million dollars of future consumption and bringing it into the present every single hour of every single day during the Obama administration. That is why I am constantly referring to our “debt-fueled standard of living”. We do not deserve to live the way that we do, but since we are able to steal from our children and our grandchildren we are able to enjoy a standard of living that most people in the world can only dream about.

Of course we are literally destroying the future of America in the process, but very few people seem to care about that these days.

Without all of this debt, we would be in a very deep economic depression right now.

But even with all of this “stimulus”, we are still mired in the worst economic “recovery” since 1949. In fact, Barack Obama is actually on track to be the very first president in all of American history to not have one single year when U.S. GDP grew by 3 percent or better, and he has had two terms in which to try to get that accomplished. The percentage of working age Americans that actually have a job is way down from where it was just prior to the last recession, and in this video I explain why the employment numbers put out by the government are not nearly as good as the administration would have us believe…

If the American people would have been willing to sacrifice and make some very hard choices a long time ago, maybe we could have gotten a handle on all of this debt.

But instead we continue to rack up debt as if there is no tomorrow, and in the process we are literally destroying tomorrow.

Every dollar of debt that we accumulate now makes life worse for our children and our grandchildren.

Unfortunately, we are a bunch of debt pigs, and we just can’t help ourselves. We have come to believe that it is “normal” to go into so much debt, and as a society we continue to race toward economic oblivion.
