Maybelline Debuts First-Ever Male Model For New Campaign

A few short months ago, Covergirl made waves when it welcomed James Charles to be its first-ever male face. The makeup artist and social media celebrity was more than happy to be featured on the cover of Covergirl, as well as star in an advertisement by the company. Those in support of gender equality, as well, were flattered to have a male figure finally receive such an honor.

Now, Maybelline is following in Covergirl’s footsteps by signing on another wildly popular “beauty boy,” Manny Gutierrez. The blogger has 3 million followers on Instagram and 2 million subscribers on YouTube. Though his channel was started in July 2014, videos of his makeup tutorials have already racked up 91 million views

Gutierrez stars in the cosmetic company’s “That Boss Life” campaign which promotes Big Shot Mascara. He appears alongside beauty blogger Shayla Mitchell and sweepstakes winner Jackie Flowers, relays Cosmopolitan.
