Hawaii Officials Warn of Possible Lava Evacuation
Hawaii authorities on Saturday told several dozen residents near an active lava flow to prepare for a possible evacuation in the next three to five days as molten rock oozed across a country road and edged closer to homes. The flow was about 35 yards wide and moving northeast at about 10 yards per hour. Patient in isolation at Hawaii hospital, officials say Ebola a possibility
The Department of Health has confirmed a patient is currently in isolation and undergoing testing in Honolulu. The Hawaii Nurses Association said the person is being treated at The Queen’s Medical Center. Officials told KHON2 Ebola is a possibility, however the patient has yet to be specifically tested for the virus.
