While Obama Sleeps, Russia Is Preparing For Nuclear War With America

Did you know that two Russian bombers practiced launching cruise missiles at the United States from a spot in the North Atlantic just the other day? And did you know that Russia is spending massive amounts of money to build and test new nuclear weapons systems? Meanwhile, the Obama administration is doing absolutely nothing to upgrade the U.

Resistance is Futile: The Violent Cost of Challenging the American Police State

If you don’t want to get probed, poked, pinched, tasered, tackled, searched, seized, stripped, manhandled, arrested, shot, or killed, don’t say, do or even suggest anything that even hints of noncompliance. This is the new “thin blue line” over which you must not cross in interactions with police if you want to walk away with your life and freedoms intact. The following incidents and many more like them serve as chilling reminders that in the American police state, “we the people” are at the mercy of law enforcement officers who have almost absolute discretion to decide who is a threat, what constitutes resistance, and how harshly they can deal with the citizens they were appointed to “serve and protect.

Chicago Firefighters Say They Were Sent Home for Refusing to Remove Patriotic Stickers

Four suburban Chicago firefighters say they were suspended after refusing to remove patriotic stickers posted on their helmets and lockers. The Maywood firefighters say they were ordered to go home for refusing to remove stickers of American flags after their fire chief implemented a ban on all stickers. “I’m floored that he would even consider this two days before 9/11,” said firefighter Dan McDowell.

Gov. Jerry Brown: Nearly 30 Percent of California Kids Illegal or ‘Don’t Speak English’

During Thursday night’s California gubernatorial debate against Republican Neel Kashkari, California Governor Jerry Brown (D) revealed that nearly 30% of the state’s schoolchildren are either illegal immigrants or do not speak English. Brown, who recently said that illegal immigrants from Mexico were “all welcome in California,” praised his administration’s immigration policies. He said that California is “setting the pace” on immigration laws and mentioned bills he signed that gave driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, made California a sanctuary state (Trust Act), and granted in-state tuition to illegal immigrants (CA DREAM Act).

Stop and seize: Aggressive police take hundreds of millions of dollars from motorists not charged with crimes

Cash seizures can be made under state or federal civil law. One of the primary ways police departments are able to seize money and share in the proceeds at the federal level is through a long-standing Justice Department civil asset forfeiture program known as Equitable Sharing. Asset forfeiture is an extraordinarily powerful law enforcement tool that allows the government to take cash and property without pressing criminal charges and then requires the owners to prove their possessions were legally acquired.

Over 100 teens swarm Memphis plaza, ‘knocking out’ shoppers

CBS affiliate WREG reported that three people are now recovering after a mob of teenagers ran through a busy shopping plaza, seemingly picking out customers and Kroger employees at random to attack. A video of the incident has been shared with local news stations in the area and is quickly going viral. It shows a young adult lying still on the ground as others repeatedly kick him and stomp his head.

Immigration court backlog now exceeds 400,000 cases

The backlog of pending deportation cases in federal immigration court has risen to nearly 400,000 amid a crush of tens of thousands of unaccompanied children and families caught crossing the Mexican border illegally this year, according an analysis of court data released Friday. The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University said in its latest report that as of the end of July, 396,552 cases were pending in the Justice Department’s 59 immigration courts. TRAC collects and studies a variety of federal prosecution records.

Must-See Police State Video: ‘You Are At My Door With Guns And I Fear For My Life… I Have Committed No Crime’

The following video footage, captured by Avel Amarel and uploaded to Youtube, shows how easy it is to stop police state tactics dead in their tracks. When two police officers show up at the door claiming to be looking for a wanted fugitive, Avarel begins recording. What you’ll see is nothing short of shocking, as police attempt to first enter his home without a warrant, and then attempt to turn him into a criminal for refusing to submit to their demands.

John Kerry: Fighting Climate Change Is A ‘Responsibility Laid Down In Scriptures’

At a ceremony Wednesday honoring Shaarik Zafar, who was just appointed to serve as the State Department’s Special Representative to Muslim Communities, Secretary of State John Kerry said “confronting climate change” is “a duty or responsibility laid down in scriptures.” “Confronting climate change is, in the long run, one of the greatest challenges that we face, and you can see this duty or responsibility laid down in scriptures, clearly, beginning in Genesis,” Kerry claimed. While promoting the need to “unite religious communities” in order to achieve global peace, Kerry pointed to other factors, including climate change, that he said will impact the “fates” of all people throughout the world.

One illegal alien has cost a North Carolina county more than $100,000

As is the case throughout the virtual ‘border state’ of North Carolina, the residents of Durham County are paying a heavy price, both literally and figuratively for the influx of cheap, albeit, illegal labor which has now flooded their county. Of course, the fact that the county seat of Durham currently has a ‘sanctuary policy’ in place plays a major role in this costly problem. In 2003, the Durham city council enacted Resolution 9046, which forbids police officers from inquiring into a suspect’s immigration status, unless they are believed to have committed a “serious crime,” such as rape, murder, etc.
